And it's very well known to Floyd and his fans that's why floyd fought a mediocre hoya and his fans praised his gift win as one of Floyd greatest win. try again...

Oscar had been at 154 and 160 since 2001, he fought Manny and Floyd 2008-9 thats 7 years at the weight , he was last at 147 fight night in 1996 .

Floyd fought De La Hoya before Pacquiao did.

Oscar has been a very mediocre at 154 and 160 that's why floyd fought him at that weight and Oscar wanted the rematch to happen at 147 but Floyd went to a temporary vacation. Try again..

Yes he fought him before pac at 154 where he's a mediocre fighter in that weight that's why hoya wants the rematch to happen at 147 but floyd don't want any part of a 147lbs hoya.

That's NOT true. You have a habit of overstating your points. Margarito took a hellacious beating, lost every round badly, but hit Pacquiao in the ribs which he felt so much that it caused him to say what you have, that he would never fight at 154 again. When Margarito had his broken orbital bone repaired, he also had a cataract removed and replaced by an articicial lens. Right there and then he was finished at a top fighter.

Although we ALL-even you- know that it was at 150, and Margarito put onover 15 lbs, which gave him overwhelming strength. He had a 17 lb advantage, enormouse height and reach advantages over the Philippino midget..

Since you know this so well, I ask you,...why do you always deliberately falsify some part of your comment. Is it to live up to your gorrilla mouth size...??

Or the portrayal of utter ******ity always associated with Homer Simpson...??

Perhaps it's just to stir up some responses.....??!!

He koed a MW before Floyd, before Manny he looked like crap against a LW Steve Forbes at 150 and then had to lose even more weight to make 147, after he was dead man walking at 147 he retired he never called Floyd or anybody else at at 147 after it nearly killed him.

154 Oscar that weighs 165 fight night knocks Manny out.

Margarito was off a bad KO loss to Mosley then kicked out for 2 yrs blew up to near 190 then looked like sht at 154 in Mexico then fought Manny is a 26ft ring at 150.

Great preparation and great version of Margarito.

Partly true and partly not. When Oscar went up to 154 he was already over the top-although not too much. He was 34 when he foiught Mayweather and 35 against Pacquiao. He fought Pacquiao at or below 147., which I think contributed to his massive beating, although he would still have lost, though not so ignominiously as to end his career.

By that time, he was already far more Promoter than fighter. They were just money fights.. .
