By that time, he was already far more Promoter than fighter. They were just money fights.. .
What part wasnt true everything I said in the post you replied to was factual, I made no claims just stated the time frame around his weight, Oscar Koed a MW the fight before Floyd he looked terrible the fight before Manny, the intensity and the power was worlds apart against Manny and was the worst case of a drained fighter Ive ever seen, at the weigh-in when Roach seen the IV marks he said it wont go 3 rounds.

Manny never ventured to 154 and Floyd really had no business there, I stand by my comment that 154 Oscar would have stopped Manny just way to big fight night at 165 lbs, Oscar was never a sloth like Margarito he was a very dangerous guy at 154, cant be compared to 98 version of Oscar at 147 as I said early I have my doubts Floyd could beat that Oscar but he might because of his brilliant defence, but Manny would be over whelmed by the size speed and power.

You said he hadn't fought at 147 for umpteen years, being 154 and 160 since 2001. But he fought Pacquiao at 147 years after. He went to 160 (a forced weight) only in 2004 to fight sturm, and he was noticeably flabby. It was commented on at the fingside.

We were not discussing how awful he looked wither in a fight or in th mirror or whereever. We were talking about his weight ...Nothing AGGRESSIVE ABOUT that.

Is there any other boxer you are a fan of or follow?
Every single Filipino I know believes PAC is the greatest boxer ever yet when I ask them about other boxers throughout history they look at me as though I asked them to solve some complex maths.

Do you watch other fights other than Manny?

Other than Manny, which other contemporary boxers do you like?

Thats what he was fighting Manny 147 Manny outweighed him on the night.

154 Oscar that weighs 165 fight night knocks Manny out.
Lol. He koed a MW who any 147 boxer could ko. Yes he looked c****d at 150 but he's much crappier in 154lbs that's why floyd don't want any part of a 147lbs Oscar even though there's a rematch clause.

165lbs Oscar would quit in less than 8 rounds against pac because he's so much slower.

Here is the fight before Floyd and fight before Manny its obvious which is by far the better fighter.

Great preparation and great version of Margarito.
He wasn't "out" for two years, and he didn't look like hell when he fought "down in Mexico"..He fought Roberto Garcia about 15 months after his suspension. He gave him a massive beating, although Garcia hadhad 2-3 unsuccessful title fights, so was no slouch. I seem to recall that he even KD'd Garcia in an early round, for the first time in his career. He then fought Pacquiao about 4-5 months later. I used to follow Margarito's career.

Why did Margarito have trouble making 150 lbs, dont say he didnt I know he did.

Garcia that Margarito beat in Mexico is a C grade fighter, the best win on his career was probably Carson Jones , the 3 fights before Margarito all came off loses, the guy right before Margarito had 17 loses and lost 5 of his previous 6.

                  You cant be serious .

Yes I know about that. It was the oddity of it that I've always remembered. Most strange, considering that Pacquiao had to eat 6-7 large meals a day to keep up his weight. At least according to Freddy....who often said "more than his prayers"...but this was said many times about Pacquiao, also that he could easily make lightweight.

How would he have done that...I dunno, maybe eaten a couple of meals a day fewer for the week before the fight...??

They BSing about Mannys weight as it was a good ploy to play the little guy, he was 144 fight night with a 129 weigh-in only 2 yrs earlier, he would be walking around at 150 and hardly had to dry out unlike drying out 15lbs as a 130 pounder , Ive read where Freddy said he had grown in to WW and was 155 at the time Roach was saying it I will try and find that comment for you.
