Munguia was offered the fight. He is the number one contender and he got first option but of course he turned it down ! That’s why it went to Williams A while ago.

GGG was also offered a Unification fight with Andrade Just a few weeks ago By Matchroom but of course he turned it down... again...

Saunders supposedly wanted the fight but got paid off by Canelo big time NOT to fight Andrade because Canelo Wanted to secure Saunders for May because Canelo had been offered Andrade In the past and turned it down and Canelo wanted to Make sure Andrade didn’t get in the way of his 168lb unification fight and even Matchroom didn’t want to lose Canelo to PBC and Plant in May

You want proof? Simple... Since when does Canelo book two fights ahead ? Usually he won’t even let his current opponent know he’s fighting until 4-6 weeks out. And now he’s booking Saunders AFTER his next fight and 5 months ahead of time. Canelo wants NOTHING do to with Andrade !

I would like to know why Andrade did not move faster to use the WBO rules, to get him a fight with BJ Saunders? Did Eddie Hearn discourage him? Did he have concerns with going to 168? Was he promised a fight with GGG?

More likely the usual. He is all big talk and no action.

Tired of seeing champions fight mid level competition. He beats Williams and its just another win. Nothing extraordinary. Andrade desperately needs a better opponent. He's made a career of fighting C level guys. And i think he is a good fighter but his level of comp is ridiculous. The only names that satisfy are Charlo, GGG, or Saunders at 68 or 60. And please, i dont wanna hear about who's ducking who. Just make the best fights already. These guys are absolutely waisting their prime years and also waisting my time as a fan. This fight definitely doesnt move the needle for me. ALSO tired of these guys chasing canelo. Boxing could be sooooo much better!!! My favorite sport???? I might wanna rethink that. smdh

You make some great points...and I'm probably the only one on these forums that think the sport is gonna be so much better once Canelo and Pacquiao are gone from it....then guys would be looking for legacy fights to get to the cash fights and not just looking for the cash fights.

Don't even try to compare Bud and Doo Doo.....one is a world class level fighter that is most likely the very best in his weight class...and the other is a ducking bar room club fighting mess. Don't even try that

Wait!!! You mean mandatory fights can go to purse bids? Which means William's promoter can make offers for this fight? Yeah.. Porter should take note, get his promoter to get the Crawford fight to a purse bid, get your promoter to invest in you.
