But now Korobov didn't have a 0. Now he was way too much risk to fight so his career just went to ****. The Charlo win should have brought him back, but he got ****ed on the cards after having taken the fight on barely any notice.

Also, just checked his boxrec. Looks like he tried to fight again in December and lost RTD4 after ****ing up his ankle. Poor guy.
Man i remember that Lee fight. Everyone was picking korobov by ko.

He fought on pbc again but this time they announced him as the winner but then said there was an error and called it a draw. Smh pbc bullshiet.

Yeah man after the lee fight i didnt hear about him until the charlo fight.

I don't think he was "too much risk" after losing to Lee, because he did get the Charlo fight, and the Eubank Jr. fight after losing to Andy Lee. However, his body failed him! Korobov (and Dervy) had plenty chances to go to the next level, but unfortunately for them, they couldn't rise to the occasion! I put them in the same category as Marcos Maidana, Amir Khan, and Danny Garcia.

AND Matchroom wouldn't guarantee him the Saunders fight because Andrade was told Saunders wanted too much money and DAZN wouldn't pay it even after he offered to reduce HIS pay to get the fight. (And of course Canelo didn't want to fight Andrade to become undisputed so Matchroom wasn't exactly excited to make the Saunders Andrade fight and upset Canelo!)

The problem was that nobody would guarantee him the Saunders fight if he did vacate and he has a hard enough time getting anyone to step in the ring with him WITH his world title belt. Who is going to fight him without a belt? Nobody! And even if he vacated and became the #1 at 168 it could be a YEAR or longer before he would become the mandatory for Canelo with all the politics. In the end Andrade had no choice but to keep the 160lb belt...
This should've been easy! Top Rank didn't have a problem making Crawford vs. Horn! Shakur Stevenson is already lined up for the winner of Herring vs. Frampton! MatchRoom should've been able to tell Andrade "You're getting Saunders @ 168, or GGG @ 160!" Hopefully he didn't force the issue with Saunders, and is rewarded with a GGG fight! If he gets neither, then he should reconsider his partnership with MatchRoom ASAP!

It is really bad how predictable boxing is even outside of the ring!

of course he was going to be left out yet again and would have to settle with Williams. Andrade is likely never going to land that big fight and it is sad

technically Munguia should have a priority over Williams as a mando but Andrade-Williams and Golovkin-Munguia are both good match-ups, Hearn should be happy, winners fight in september, winner (40-year old Golovkin) fights Canelo in 2022

And I believe he only got Charlo after WM Jr pissed dirty and they needed a late replacement?

He went four years without a KO and wasn't fighting the best of the best too. He didn't even fight in 2017! I would say he was "blessed" to have the opportunity to fight Charlo, he "survived" Aleem, and then still got a shot to fight Eubank Jr.! Unfortunately, he injured himself vs. Eubank Jr.! Korobov did indeed have opportunities, but he failed!

Maybe the local iHop in Providence can host the fight since no one else give a flying F#%K about this boring MF

Eddie Hearn protected BJS & I'm willing to bet MTK did as well. Eddie applied for an extension to wait on Canelo's fight. The only concern Andrade spoke about was BJS actions. He understandably so, said he didn't trust BJS. From what I can see Andrade did all he could but the promoter & politics have a protection plan issued..

Where did you get this information from?

The WBO rules don't require him to vacate to fight BJS. Had they fought at 168, Andrade would have a short time frame (I believe 10 days if I'm not mistaken) to decide if he was going to continue being champion at 60 or 68. But he can't simultaneously hold both belts in 2 divisions going forward.
