yeah cos vanderpool, sheika and reid are nobodies.....Lacy has a better record than Kessler (minus the loss to JC) and has beaten better opponents. I'll go as far to say that on what I've seen of the two fighters he'd beat Kessler.

The bottom line is, Kessler should fight Beyer - good move, Calzaghe is left without a top opponent until the new year, so he's taking a mandatory defence. Simple as that

Bika is a R I D I C U L O U S choice of opponent. Beyer got a lot of criticism for fighting Bika. And now Calzaghe who suposedly is the no. 1 SMW is taking Beyer left-overs????

Bika is not rated by ********* in top 15 in ANY division!!!!

Also he is only rated in top 15 by ONE of the 4 organization - and that is in middleweight.

It is horrible that anyone can even consider defending this choice of challenger for a world title.

Calzaghe probably doesn't have Kessler on the top of his list because he's after the money and Kessler isn't exactly a marquee name.

Kessler almost certainly would prefer to face Beyer than calzaghe, as he's a much weaker fighter and should prove a stepping stone towards more recognition.

Speculating over whether calzaghe is ducking him or not isn't particularly illuminating.

We'd been crying out for JC to fight a young hungry fighter for years....and he did, winning every round and messing up his face. Calzaghe can leave the division now and he'd be #2 SMW ever, so he's probably looking at woods, johnson or jones jnr to make his money and retire.

If Beyer somehow manages to win aginst Kessler, CALZAGHE WILL BE DESPERATE to fight Beyer - as it will be viewed as a relatively easy complete unification fight. Also with Beyer's much bigger home marked (compared to Kessler) a lot of money can be made from that fight.

If Kessler wins Calzaghe won't be quite as desperate to have another 168 fight

Calzaghe even said he hopes Kessler wins, because he would be an easier fight for him.

OMG, don't go saying stuff like that. He's already quoted one of my posts 3 times to ridicule this choice of opponent, only to produce a piss poor list of prospective opponents himself.

I think we should all just admit that Kessler is God, even though he's an easy night's work for Joe C.
