Sure Joe is difficult and always should carry some or even at times alot of the blame for the lack of big fights but it goes both ways and guys like Winky and Bernard and Roy over the years have certainly not been overly interested in fighting the white boy from across the pond.

I admit that his choice of opponent isn't exactly brilliant, but it's ok as long as his next fight is the winner of Kessler v Beyer (and really only if Kessler wins, because Beyer is extremely limited, not to mention half shot), or the winner of Johnson v Woods.

Calzaghe probably doesn't have Kessler on the top of his list because he's after the money and Kessler isn't exactly a marquee name.

Kessler almost certainly would prefer to face Beyer than calzaghe, as he's a much weaker fighter and should prove a stepping stone towards more recognition.

Speculating over whether calzaghe is ducking him or not isn't particularly illuminating.

Bloody hell, if you're going to slate Calzaghe at least give a credible alternative - not the cast list for the next Contender series.

I hope Calzaghe fights Kessler next. Firstly so he can become the unified champion at SW (he's already undisputed in most people's eyes), and secondly so I can laugh. Lots. My money's on a domestic fight with Woods though - both would make some serious cash on that.
