Plant did not impress even his corner knew it its why they were pushing for the KO in 12th.He got tagged enough to damage his face, IMHO he does not beat Benavidez, Canelo or even Charlo if he moved up .
Plant is an OK boxer but is not at the elite level. Any of the guys you mentioned would destroy him.
Plant literally gets hit 47 times in a 12 round bout and somehow this isn’t good enough? His boxing is beautiful. Beautiful jab, beautiful footwork and defense. Boxing purists love this, including me. The Johnny come latelys must always have a KO or the competition is “trash.”

The writer of the article was drinking too much, what fight did he watch? It was a boring fight, Plant did win but looked bad in the process, scared of Truax, who was basically a zombie.

My favorite is David benevidez. I won’t hate on no boxer. I agree plant is no powerhouse, but hes got skills. He will have a good career. Likely won’t dominate, but people will tune in when he fights more elite fighters. He’s a draw.
