truax wasn’t doing much other than following plant around the ring, active guard but no lead hand control ,didn’t throw much punches, barely cutting the ring off . While plant was landing leaping hooks and jabs at will ,also showing good footwork as usual circling steps off the line gets out of position when he’s backed to the ropes. just he’d hit much harder if he drives through more putting more weight into his punches. And a bit suspectable for the counter punches caught with a clean counter while throwing his right hand, his leaping left hooks are pretty good very fast ends on the other side but I feel like he’s not sinking into his punches most of the times. and little bit leaky defense not catching the punch towards his head sometimes. I don’t think he beats canelo.

Plant literally gets hit 47 times in a 12 round bout and somehow this isn’t good enough? His boxing is beautiful. Beautiful jab, beautiful footwork and defense. Boxing purists love this, including me. The Johnny come latelys must always have a KO or the competition is “trash.”

Switch the name Plant with Mayweather in this fight getting hit only 47 times in a shutout and he’s the grand boxing wizard of all time.
