Pointless fight. Truax maddening. Guy is tough but never stepped it up and threw punches in bunches. Why so many content to lose 12-0?

I thought it was a good performance. He obviously lacks power which will be a problem against canelo who i am assuming he will fight in september.

I would love to see him against charlo and would bet plant big in that fight but i doubt he fights anyone, much less anyone who is a threat until he gets the canelo fight this fall. He would be a fool to.

And lol to the morons that think plant or anyone is ducking canelo.

Plant is very good early, I see his fight with Canelo being close for the first 6-8 rounds. After that Plant fades a bit and Canelo takes over and either stops him or just beats the crap out of him while Plant survives to a clear decision loss.

Still would be one of the better tests at 168, Plant gives anyone from 160-168 a good fight. I don't see him being blown out by anyone. I would favor him over anyone not named Canelo or Benavidez. And I think a fight between Plant and Benavidez could go either way.
I could see it going that way, very close ont he first half and Canelo starting to impose his experience on the second part of te fight.

Agree with the opinion of the rational boxing fans in here. Plant is a quality champion, has a few noticeable flaws, but against a certain lvl he looks to be the goods. He seems to peaking, but calling for a shot with Alvarez is biting off a lil bit more than I think he can digest. Alvarez is 100% in his prime and I would favor him over anyone up to 175+. Interested to see the fight, but currently there is no doubt in my mind that Canelo would win if matched in the coming months. The Uzi win was huge at the time, but I would like to see Plant take another step up before facing Canelo. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like his promotional company has anyone on or better than his level in that division rn. Don’t see him ever fighting Benavides (too much bad blood), and I doubt Charlo would move up to face him (but that would be a hell of a fight). So unless he is willing to play the ****** promotional politics game. He’ll probably fight a stay busy fight in summer and then hopefully get Nelo bout.

Neither Charlo or Golovkin are the best at 168. Or, at least, they haven't yet proven it in the ring.

There's time for Charlo to fight Plant and get that September slot though, if he wants that work . . .
