Not even second. He only pulled 300k with Keef. $10 million. Heavy promotion, a title fight, undefeated opponent.

Yet Floyd pulled $30 million with Berto, a fight nobody asked to see but was on his bucket list, and after he cut an interview telling people not to buy it.

You guys VASTLY overestimate Manny's drawing power. He has to have a star (aka a THREAT) across from him. If the fans know the opponent isn't (or shouldn't be) a threat, they don't tune in.

      Second is Anthony Joshua.

      Oops

Joshua in the UK yes , but definitely not here. Joshua has to have a star too. Most Amercians dont have a clue who Joshua even is. Pac dont need a star opposite him. He is popular everywhere.

No he isn't. Canelo is. By a WIDE margin.
Okay, second biggest star & easily the biggest drawing welterweight. Any welterweight fighter would benefit more from fighting Pacquiao than any other fighter. That’s why they all want that fight & if there was an actual option for Crawford & Spence to fight each other or Pacquiao I’m 99% certain either would choose Pacquiao.

It doesn't matter if Joshua is a star or not in America if he's pulling more money in the UK. Let him.

Point is, dollar for dollar, Manny doesn't draw like Joshua. Period. Nor should he at this point.

He's not the second biggest star - that's Anthony Joshua.

Biggest drawing welter? I would suspect as I said before, if Manny were to fight someone like Mikey or Spence, yes. Even if he fought Crawford, except neither of them know how to promote properly/fake beef.

But if Manny fought Danny? Ugas? Brook? Kavaliauskas? Hell no.

Manny needs the right dance partner to draw money. He can't draw huge on his own. I would have thought Pac/Algieri taught people this.

Right now, Manny pulls money, sure. But his drawing power is not above Canelo or Joshua, period.

Joshua isn't a bigger star than Pacquiao. No one knows who Joshua is in the U.S. Joshua just gets by by fighting in the UK. Joshua vs. Fury would outdraw any current Pacquiao fight but just one fight doesn't mean he's an overall bigger draw.

Edit: I didn't even see the previous post from Fangedgrowl but he's 100% right. Huge star in the UK but not anywhere else. Pacquiao is a big star worldwide.

Pacquiao had to drop draws and fight Horn in Australia just to make the money work.

You guys need to forget about the Pacquiao you're remembering from before 2015. That loss to Floyd Mayweather seriously dropped this guy's checks; it's on record.

Why the hell would a guy who was a big draw accept a fight with Jessie Vargas?

                Come on man.

Yeah but he'll be left wanting that 'big' fight.

Davis and Haney are already over him.

I wouldn't doubt if Teo sees no point in fighting him either.

In business, you really can't waste people's time because you might not get another chance, you know what I mean?

Completely agree. It's why I keep pushing for Crawford to accept B-Side status so that fight can be done and over with, same situation.

Does anyone know why Ryan is stunting like a fight will still happen? His own damn promoter AND Manny's management company have shot it down.
