    Here's how he saw it;

    AJ came under criticism for the stoppage, with some suggesting he looked like he quit when he was dropped for the third time in round seven

    But referee Griffin dismissed those suggestions and explained what happened at that moment in the seventh round which sent shock waves through the heavyweight division.

    Griffin explained: "I was looking into his (Joshua's) eyes. He was struggling with something. And he wasn't quitting. He was looking for more time."

    That's what it looked like to me too.
    I feel like that fits comfortably in my explanation bud. I'm confused as to what your beef is anymore.

      What can be questioned is Joshua's mentality, was he more relieved or disappointed when the referee stopped it? Did he want the referee to stop it? But he certainly didn't quit.

        I'm getting the impression Denium is starting to sweat now that fight is looking more and more likely. Had so much to say, so much salt which he has enjoyed throwing. If Joshua goes and knocks the FKK out of Fury I'm not sure Denium will ever reappear on here, well not under that name anyway.

        Boys getting nervous.

          What beef?

          I was just pointing out that spitting a gumshield does not always equate with quitting.

            Obviously not. They are different terms with different meanings. That's why the ref who stopped the fight said this;

            "And he wasn't quitting. He was looking for more time."

              Which is a thing many see as quitting regardless. It's really semantics and hair cutting at this point. Kay, he didn't quit, he just repeated did something to get him thrown out of the fight....huge difference, how dare anyone call him a quitter. Get me?

                There's always the Full Retard option, like this guy after Wilder got KTFO ...

                Andy Ruiz laid the blueprint on how to make A.J quit. Tyson, has the background to replicate a 'No-Mas' from Anthony Joshua : Tyson can easily gain 100 pounds in a day or two, Phooey will no doubt play mind-games and dress up like a Mexican ; get dropped ( like the Gypsy-Bum usually does ), take a siesta in the middle of the ring ( like Tyson did vs. Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder ) ; and finally, sneak Joshua ( like Tyson is use too, whenever he is in trouble ).

                  He didn't repeatedly do anything to get himself thrown out of the fight, unless you're saying that repeatedly going down and getting back up is quitting, in which case Wilder also quit against Fury.

                    Denium will go down with his ship.
