As usual people commenting without reading the article. At least read the quotes. It's never good to take things out of context.

Anyway, good luck to Benn. He clearly wants to improve.

The full quote in the article is nowhere near as bad as the headline (no surprise). There is some self confidence in his words which isn't a bad thing. He's improved a great deal since getting the gift victory against Peynaud. Hopefully he stays humble and continues to improve.
