  • Comments Thread For: Conor Benn: I Wouldn't Be Surprised If I Knocked Vargas Out in One

He shouldn’t overlook Vargas like that. Vargas is always a tough dude and has the experience to give Benn some problems.

to be fair he has improved alot but yea hes pretty crap tbf, i REALLY wanted to be a fan of the not so dark destroyer but after a few fights i realised he was just using his dads name to make a few quid.

it wasnt that long ago where he was getting dropped multiple times off some french street sweeper & needing a gift decision to get the W, now hes beating semi decent fringe guys, albeit carefully selected by Edwin.

Yeah, I remember that fight.I briefly liked him because he seemed to be honest about hes limitations and seemed disappointed in himself but humble. But lately he thinks hes a second coming of hes dad and hes nowhere near.I think hes starting to get the big head but like you say ,if anyone can guide him all the way without a real test its dodgy Ed.

These quotes reminds me of when Conor Benn was down twice in the 1st round vs. Cedrick Peynaud. Sammy Vargas has a rough style like Benn, these two bums might end up hurting and dropping each other multiple times.

              This should be fun.

As usual people commenting without reading the article. At least read the quotes. It's never good to take things out of context.

Anyway, good luck to Benn. He clearly wants to improve.

careful with that ego; lots of fights are lost before they start due to such an ego.

Conor Benn, is coming out looking like the 'Weeknd', when he gets it on with Sammy Vargas.
