Curious: Why did NSB turn its back on Wanheng Menayothin?

That's just a symptom of people being ashamed of what they tried to do with him. Instead of supporting him as a decent fighter, they used him to flame hatred (and envy) of Floyd Mayweather. That's the truth - even if people here won't admit that.Comment

Brutha.... revelated had a revelation, lol!
I don't think anyone ever took this guy seriously, no-one has ever seriously suggested or thought that he is better than Mayweather, it was trolling all along to provoke Mayweather fans.
As Joe ***** would say, "Come on, man!".Comment

Actually, I'm fairly certain pasawako felt that exact way. And multiple news outlets ran with it.
Jeff Mayweather was forced to straight up ask real boxers about it.

Come on, don't do that.
The guy that went 54-0 before taking a loss. ONE loss.
He's actually a very good fighter.
What I'm calling out is, on a boxing forum, instead of talking about him as a very good fighter who arguably even now is the best at his class (minimumweight) in a very long time (for what that's worth), people just propped him up to spite Floyd, but once he took ONE loss they ignore him because he no longer suits the narrative.
That one loss doesn't make him any less of a good fighter at his class. Even that loss was a close one that could have gone either way.Comment

Didn't even know who the **** yer talking about until you posted 54-0
The anti-floyd lost? Oh no. Can't use him against Mayweather, now he's useless. They call themselves fans too.
Personally I just don't have time for tiny people fights.Comment

****** thread. Why do you think? He lost. They never really cared about him, only that he was undefeated and had more wins than Floyd. Not like he fought the best opponents he could or tried to unify his division. He was happy to defend his title against little Thai midgets for eternity until the wrong mandatory came along or whatever happened.Comment

No. He just got exposed as a bum hype job. That's what happens when you take an L and lose your 0.
On to the next one...Comment
