The point of Ben Askren vs Jake Paul

I am interested to see if anyone on here sees a single point in this fight? It's pretty much the same as a female YouTube star that's twice the size, taking up fitness and boxing (not a professional boxer, we all know Jake isn't that) and then next thing we know there's a bout vs her and Ronda Rousey, aka zero stand up skills and most importantly isn't a boxer...

It's annoying because Ben's stand up is pretty dreadful which is why I compared to Rousey, both got a great ground game but cannot box. It's annoying because Jake actually has a chance of winning, but only because he's 200 lbs. Neither of them can box...

Ben is either deluded about his stand up or just getting paid enough that he doesnt mind a little extra brain trauma. The guy is probably the worst male striker in UFC history and will be food for Paul.

It will feed Jakes ego sadly. He isn't a professional boxer when he isn't fighting professionals :/ The biggest joke next to Tommy Fury.

Yep, the point is oooooooooo look Paul is fighting a UFC guy, wow he is really challenging himself and proving something.

{UFC guy) is all that will enter their heads. His record, his lifestyle, his current frame of mind will not be taken into account. This is not being pushed to Boxing or MMA fans this is being pushed to the fans of some YouTube Blogging star who don't know (or care) any better.

I think you could, and a lot of people in society already do, ask what is the point of any sanctioned fistfight for money? I mean they're just beating each other senseless for minutes. Aren't we trying to get away from that as a society?

Askren is a very accomplished wrestler tbf but he has no business being in a boxing ring.
