How are you going to saying people are babying Benavidez and then bring up Tank. Tank missed wait, stripped, and right away got a shot back for his belt.....AND Machado ended up getting unjustifiably demoted to Regular Champion and Tank promoted to the Super Champion. Benavidez got stripped and the WBC decides cater to Canelo and completely forget about Benavidez.

He fought for one of those 50 lower belts. Your beef is with the WBA. We all know how corrupt they are. My beef is more about the coke. I mean damn he must’ve been snorting a day or two before the fight because coke isn’t in your system very long. You add the missing weight on top of that it doesn’t look like he’s committed.

David Benavidez has an opponent against whom he can remain active while awaiting a bigger fight. Benavidez informed BoxingScene.com on Tuesday that he'll oppose Ronald Ellis on March 13. Showtime will televise the Benavidez-Ellis fight as the main event of a tripleheader that night from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
