You can't rate BJS higher than any of these guys, it's all hypothetical with Saunders and who has he beat really? He's been around MW and now SMW forever, Jermall moves up and beats a much better opponent than any of BJS' and he beats him in style, better than anyone has yet.

There's a reason why all these other guys have faced top opposition and Saunders has not. Common denominator: Billy Joe Saunders.

What's his best win? The fetus of Eubank? Murray was a 40 year old. David Lemieux is....David Lemieux. He's literally beat nobody and has been riding on coattails of like 1 (ONE!!!!) great performance....against a past-prime, C-level at best fighter.

other than Benavidez, you absolutely can

he is simply better... regardless of, blah blah blah reasons

that could be a good fight... Benavidez could be a great fight

cbf getting into an essay mr fkn sir, but as an example: name me an opponent that BJS has beat that is the same calibre as Derevyanchenko and name me someone else who has beaten him as easy as Charlo did.

We have no reason to elevate BJS to these heights. FWIW I honestly thought that a prime, active BJS was a majoir threat to GGG and Canelo, but he is in his 30s now isn't he? And he's still running around gettiing pissed and feasting on kebabs inbetween fights.

He has turned down so many fights it's not funny, not to mention the failed test ruining the only good fight he was to have against Andrade.

The only thing that can cut a diamond is another diamond. Canelo seems to be the only diamond around

that is all boxing-by-numbers garbage, we should leave that to the casuals

he is clearly better, and more well-equipped... to handle the HUGE task, that is beating Canelo... or even competing with him to be honest

he is simply better than Plant/Smith/etc... who have not beaten anybody either

Okay fair enough, stylistically he, Andrade and Bivol all present problems for Canelo, my personal biases about BJS and his dedication are what my opinions are based on and I can admit that.

EDIT: I should add that despite everything I've said, I still rate BJS higher than Plant. I don't rate Plant to be completely honest and I was never that fussed with Smith either (solid guy though).
