Real HW fans understand, anyone can be beaten in this division. Ali understood it ... and all the other greats. The great ones battle back and leave their legacy. It's all up to Wilder from here forward.
You've all said he isn't great, he's backtracked on statements and now without a title he's an expensive undercard fighter or an ESPN Wednesday Night fighter so why if I'm running a business should I be excited about Deontay Wilder.

You dont understand the allure of big men facing off, nor the money to be made from it. I hope your business is a dry cleaners.

Still don't think we'll see him again but he certainly added something to the sport. Sure, he held the belt hostage but he was the ultimate heel, even with quite a comical persona. We couldn't wait to see him beaten and in every fight it looked possible until he landed his party piece.

He'll carry that same intrigue if he gets back in the ring. With the added bonus of us doubting whether he's mentally capable of what he used to do.

He 800k on the second fight so that's operating on a lost in his promoters pocket which means future fights against unheralded opponents are again going to mean a lost for the networks and promoters. If he doesn't have a title it doesn't justify ppv because you can't get twelve rounds which means nothing to you the fan but means more for the fighters on the undercard and the people working said event. I know you'll say well there's no fans, well there's the cameramen, judges, media personalities all come with the hope of a paycheck or exposure, none of which is possible without one the alphabet soup belts. No one is going to pony up $40.00 except hardcore fans, and that's not going to be a successful business, without ppv the production value are low which means Wilder and Martin don't get the exposure; which at their age they need, to get a public excited about their next fight which means the losers career is more or less over and the winner gains , outside of this forum respect, minimal to nothing. And the promoters well they're out maybe 10 or more million which is bothersome because you run into the same problem Deontay Wilder nor Charles Martin are marketable. Black fans unless they persist on boxing aren't going to watch, and they are not compelling enough villains to get an audience to pay to see them lose.

I'll accept that as reasonable, but I won't be buying or watching; Fury and Joshua sure but not some jackass who had an opportunity squandered it, and then proceeded with BS. I have no interest in watching him fight flawed fighters, and lower ranked fighters for the next three years. Had he gone with the third fight win or lose he would've had my respect. Charles Martin, Whyte and Ruiz mean nothing he's not addressing nor can he address why he lost to Fury: Tyson Fury not only a better boxer, he's taller, longer, and despite weighing more is quicker. Wilder can't wait him out like everyone else, doesn't have the reach against him and can't hit him. Tyson Fury beats 99.999% of the time and no rebuilding plan would've changed although a third fight and better performance would've earned him more respect. However, Deontay decided to go with glovegate and although I believed that it he wanted to fire Breland to go ahead all of these attacks on Fury seemed to be with the plan for making sure a third fight never happened. Now that he's shown his list of opponents he should just watch the tape of his career prior to the lost because that's as positive as it will get. Sorry for the long bs narrative.

but knowing him it'll be Charles Martin, Helenius and Otto Wallin.

yo what happened to that windmill? Is he comin back or what? He can still fight those c level boxers...he has a good punch...too bad he has no jab, foot work, defense and everything else a good boxer needs to beat serious opposition.

you obv have a crap mentality to not see the value in a boxer even after he get's sparked out like whyte did.
whyte just has that type of style, him vs wilder is an intriguing fight because they'll trade leather.

Nothing to do with him getting knocked out.

Whyte's claim to fame is landing a good punch on AJ's glass chin, and then getting KO'ed.

He consistently comes in overweight and out of shape. No desire to see him against anyone.
