I've said some borderline offensive comments about Wilder, so I ask those who like him or are neutral why should I give him a chance?
Why should I be excited about Wilder

I think Wilder beats everybody on both lists. I would the AJ fight and the Ruiz fight. I think Whyte gets knocked out early though.
AJ and Ruiz vs Wilder are 55-45 fights IMO I only give Wilder the edge because of the reach, speed and unreal power against AJ and against Ruiz i give him the edge because of Ruiz himself being his own worst enemy.
Your right though Wilder will fight the 2and tier guys before he fights the others.Comment

Wilder is an exciting fighter. He can literally end any fight any time with just one shot. Very fun fighter to watch.
I give him a great chance to beat any fighter not named Tyson Fury. Big questions about his mentality now though, Fury may have broke him.Comment

I think Wilder has trouble with everyone on that list with exception of Otto Wallin. I think Martin beats him....I think Helenius stops him...but I think he stops Otto Wallin.I think Wilder beats everybody on both lists. I would the AJ fight and the Ruiz fight. Why shouldn't you like Wilder? He's the definition of heavyweight boxing. A guy that delivers big knockouts at any moment.
Sure, he's loud mouthed and until his loss, pretty arrogant but perhaps he has a new look on his return. Who knows. Ultimately, his character made him exciting to watch because of how loud mouth he was. It wasn't really loud mouthing against his opponents either, it was mostly just his interviews, lol. He was a pretty likeable guy if you ever watch him on those radio talk shows.Comment

The one where he's whining about white people oppressing him or the one where he's slandering his trainer for saying his life? Why shouldn't you like Wilder? He's the definition of heavyweight boxing. A guy that delivers big knockouts at any moment.

He has what we boxing fans want from HW (Power)... We just want to see it against the better boxers, unfortunately so far he has only shown that power against Fury (First fight KD).
The rest of the boxers he fought have never achieved anything. So it is actually difficult to assess that power. Hopefully PBC's terrible business practice (As another poster Outwest exp 355 put it) wouldn't stop him from taking on better chances from now on out.
So that we can finally see if he can reach his potential at 35 or 36 years old, taking in out of the protective bubble, and let him fight others for bigger payday than he has been allowed to so far.Comment

Otto Wallin is a better southpaw then Martin . Wallin probably has the second best footwork in the division as far as moving around and Wilder has shown he has difficulty hitting moving targets and falls over power shots he throws .Last edited by REDEEMER; 01-26-2021, 11:10 AM.Comment
