All those sparring vids of him beating up white guys just putting on gloves for the first time ain't gonna help him here. There's no confusion now. Lopez is the world champion and Haney is a paper "champ". Make no mistake, Haney knows this already. If he beats Linares or Fortuna, then maybe he deserves a title shot. But he really hasn't done much yet to deserve one.

Both are good realistic opponents for him at this stage of his career, they're gonna test him and show us what he's made of, he either wins a tough fights and grows from it or he crumbles under pressure. I would love to see any of these fights.
