Wilder or Lacy: who took a worse beating

Joe Calzaghe vs Jeff Lacy and Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 2 are two of the most one sided beatdowns in modern boxing.

In both fights the American did not land a single punch of note and lost every second of every round.

Wilders beating ended with his one decent team member throwing the towel in to save Deontay from further punishment as he languished on the ropes being pummeled, Lacys ended at the end of the 12th with his manager begging the timekeeper to ring the bell.

Nothing surpasses the asswhoopin Wilder endured imho, Because of the psychological factor especially considering Wilder literally genuinely believed it was the most laughable thing he ever heard when Fury told him in advance that he was going for the early ko.(I too was laughed at for believing Kronk Fury would take it to him & I told everyone if he was so featherfisted why didn't Wilder walk him down & ko him,but of course this site is a hivemind that only takes into consideration what the current narrative is,not that anything can happen in boxing)

I agree, Lacy also at least survived to the final bell which Wilder was never going to.

I think Lacy’s was worse IMO. Wilder got beat up pretty bad but from what I remember the Lacy fight was brutal.

Lacy's beatdown was worse. It was legit.

Lacy was far more humiliated. Beaten to a pulp. Danced around. A long drawn out whooping.

I'll argue that pound for pound, Lacy was a better fighter than Wilder. And Calzaghe better than Fury.
