Does this mean Usyk won't get his step aside money? He shouldn't either. A undisputed should always trump a mandatory. We know that the titles will fragment soon after and who is the real champion any way ....don't we?.....it's a mess!

World Boxing Organization who is no longer calling for a mandatory title defense, sources with intimate knowledge of the development have informed BoxingScene.com.
If Oleksandr decided to take step-aside money, I would be disappointed in Usky. So now the HW division is at a complete stand-still, the WBO knows that Joshua and Fury have a rematch clause -- what the hell are they thinking promising the 'Interim' a shot?!
There is a law-suit coming from Deontay Wilder and even more rematch clauses with another mandatory. Thanks a lot WBO, just when I was about to commend them for not participating in handing-out secondary titles, they become corrupt by money, like the WBA and WBC.

But hey, I know that SKY and ESPN will tell you otherwise, like they been telling you that Teofimo Lopez is 'undisputed' HA!

Calling it now:
Fury/Joshua to end in a controversial DRAW, thus forcing Joshua/Usyk anyway (180 day limit).

Sorry boys, history will not recognize this as a 'undisputed' fight.

So that's makes 7 world-titles. But the good-news is that Deontay will end up fighting for the WBC world-heavyweight titles, which only complicates matters even more.
