Anthony Joshua has had the best preparation coming into this fight 'But neither fighter have had absolute ideal preparation, as they both could of done with 1 more fight' Joshua vs Usyk, and Fury vs a fighter outside of the top-20 ranked heavyweights in the world i.e That seems to be his style of fighting in between big fights.

'Undisputed' with multiple 'interim' champions at the same time, this is probably he first time this has happened in the HW division, leave it up to Tyson Phooey to cause all this chaos.
The honor of 'undisputed' only means something when you can keep it, Joshua-Fury are just using this term to add value to their sham PPV, in a few weeks they will be stripped! Oleksandr Usyk or Terence Crawford did not lose their honor as 'Undisputed' because they moved up in weight to seek greater challenges. Only in this dreadful polluted division can such a honor can become meaningless.
If AJ vs. Fury 1 happens a month or two before Usyk vs. Joyce, then it will be more than doable. Because, let's have it right, if that scenario happens and the undisputed champion enters negotiations with the interim champion with 20 days left of the WBO's time limit, they're not gonna strip anybody.
And all that is providing Usyk wins. I personally think he beats Joyce quite handily, but if Joyce wins, I doubt the WBO will be so eager to enforce their rumoured ruling. The only reason they've been pushing so hard is due to the fact that Usyk has already stepped aside at least twice.Comment

The man most favoured by this situation is Joyce, who has nothing to loose and a lot to gain.
Should he win vs usyk he would almost certainly be wbo champ (aj vs fury ii will be made and wbo title won't be on the line).
Should he loose he will still be a contender to beat by, eg, Parker, Wilder, Yoka and whoever wants a shoot at the title next.Comment

Well shít the bed and call me Derrick, I actually agree with you. If the WBO are just dancing to Hearn's tune by allowing their title to be up for grabs with the intention of the winner vacating within a few months, then yes, that's ******. But they've given the winner six months to face Usyk (providing he wins) after Usyk vs. Joyce has taken place. So there's some wiggle room to allow both AJ vs. Fury fights to happen, depending on which fight takes place first.

Your logic here is pretty ****** to be honest. How much more undisputed could you get when you're fighting for all 4 titles and lineal status? FFS, some fans here always find a way to troll even the best of news that gives fans the fights they want. Go back to space Skywalker, you're not making any sense here on earth.Comment

Dude is just salty that his boyfriend Wilder isn't in the fight and the first undisputed fight with 4 belts on the line is between two Brits. That just makes his blood curdle. 1hourrun is a bias, double standard having, hypocritical, contradictory poster. Everything he says is suspect and every opinion he presents should be taken with a grain of salt.Comment

I doubt Usyk's handlers are going to be dumb enough to let Joshua-Fury make a fortune, without getting his shot at the pot. But who knows Egis Klimas did not put a rematch clause for Vasily Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez ; needless to say Klimas is pretty ******, so maybe Hearn and Arum get over on Usyk.
Vacancy is going to be the result for this 'unification', the irony. This is another example why I call boxing fans ******.
Boxing casuals are celebrating a 'undisputed' fight for the HW championship of the world, ( with multiple 'Interim' champions ), but then will bitch and moan when Joshua or Tyson get stripped, even though they know that Joshua and Phooey should of fought Usyk and Wilder first and avoided this mess.Last edited by 1hourRun; 01-20-2021, 09:39 AM.Comment

But those step asides were to allow a contractual rematch and the IBF mandatory (which was next in line, regardless if the WBO were impatient and ordered theirs first). It's not like AJ has asked Usyk to step aside to have some voluntaries against the likes of Szpilka or Stiverne.Comment
