I thought Thurman retired years ago. Aint he way past his time? Didnt he come out of retirement to lose to Pac ? That was a long time ago. How is he ranked so high nowdays anyhow with all the great talent in the division? At this point forget him fighting and losing to Ugas and Ennis. I don't even see Thurman getting past Omar Figueroa or Rashidii Ellis. (Someone make a fight with Speedy. I gotta see if he's for real.)

Eubank is the worst example to give. Hearn got him a fight with GGG and he walked away from it. The fact that he was able to leave in the first place should tell you a lot, he didn't have to sit out the rest of his contract. Haymon has let his fighters go to pursue more money and titles (Jacobs, Eleider Alvarez, Beterbiev, etc.) Arum and Hearn didn't want to work with Haymon to get those guys fights, they wanted the fighters under contract.

This whole notion of them working together is a joke. This is why they try to go directly to the fighters behind Haymons back. We didn;t get Floyd vs Manny until they met and Manny spoke to Al, and then a little while later he ended up signing with him.

As a far as stars, you don't think Spence, or Tank are stars? They fill out arenas all the time.

After Pedraza, he spent over 3 years in the wilderness. He then wants to fight a finished Mares who has been out of the ring for years and coming off a defeat. When that's a no go, he brings in the smaller Cruz to guarantee victory. That is beyond pathetic. Tank has done nothing but duck the top fighters and stack advantages in his favour.

PBC has made attempts to make these kind of fights but other promoters will block it unless it benefits them.

Jermell Charlo for example he should have faced the WBO champ to unify all the belts, but that is a Golden Boy fighter. (His mandatory is another PBC fighter, so what is taking so long?)

Jermall Charlo has been trying to face GGG, Canelo, Munguia (has been rank #1 by the WBC for a while now)

They made Wilder vs Fury twice (got delayed the 2nd time after he signed with Top Rank)

We could have had Wilder vs Whyte if they put Joshua on the contract too years ago.

You could go back to Stevenson vs Kovalev when they asked to push up the pursed bid to make the fight happen and were guaranteed a 50/50 split for both sides (those articles were posted and written on this site).
