Usyk is going to want a kings ransom. I guess if i was in his situation id try and maximize the step aside payoff as much as possible. He's a mandatory for the wbo i think? So, if he steps aside he's not fighting for the belt for over a year if not longer due to fury vs aj being a 2 fight deal.

I really don't want to see aj drop the belt as we want a true undisputed to reign over the division with all the belts. Hopefully they can come to some sort of a deal that is fair and Usyk doesn't hold aj hostage for the title shot.

This is the only fight that matters. Well, at least to me in the world of boxing right now. Don't care where it's at will def be watching. Hopefully it's not in Saudi. They are going to take the best offer regardless. When i say best i mean to the highest bidder.

There is still negative press about that media guy those Saudi guys Dahmer'd so I'mma take a wild guess & assume Saudi Arabia is gonna put forth the best offer.

I can't see Eddie making any contract that isn't grossly in favor of AJ with 17 one sided rematch clauses , and all sorts of other dodgy detail...

And I can't see fury ever accepting one of Eddie's one sided contracts.

I suspect this fight never happens, and Eddie will blame fury for fight not happening. Well be a repeat of wilder negotiations

It sounds like they are actually negotiating. The way you do when both fighters want the fight. So nothing like the Wilder situation.

People have got it in their heads that is Eddie's job to draw up a contract and make the offer. Why? Because AJ has always been the one making offers. You just got used to it.

There were never negotiations with Wilder. Just offers from AJ. And one Instagram message from Wilder.

But didn’t Joshua maintain that a unification of this magnitude HAVE to take place in the U.K. “because of the fans?”

I'm not over bothered where it takes place as long as it's not ****** O'clock in the morning UK time. Ring entrance time 20.00Hrs BST works well for me.

Wilder fan gimps can't stand the fact that this is happening. They didn't want Wilder to try do undisputed with Joshua and now they don't want to see Joshua and Fury do it.

Wilder is one wierd gimp like wierdo and his fans are no better. Especially that dumb as a rock Jkp dude. He keeps trying to be salty but just walks himself in to a corner every time he speaks. There must be a window for him to lick somewhere.

We pretending to ignore COVID now to suit a salty narrative? You know what's going on and why. Put the salt down you know too much about the sport to be pretending to play dumb on current affairs.

Wilder, or his owners, never wanted the fight. Even when they turned down 100 million they said it was because they wanted it on PPV in America so millions could watch Wilder knock AJ out.

So where was the counter offer? What effort did they actually put in to make their words mean anything.

You are totally correct. What has been happening here is negotiations between 2 sides that want the fight. Arum and Warren are not unplugging their phone line and blocking emails and cancelling meetings like Finkel did.
