This is why I'm skeptical of Crawford

Bob Arum said the Spence fight can't be next because of no or limited crowds.

The Pacquiao negotiations were a lie.

The first time Keith Thurman asked for the fight they lied and said Thurman asked for $10 mil. Crawford didn't tell them to negotiate. He bought the lie (maybe he didn't really want the fight?) AFTER he knew they'd lied about the Pac fight.

Bob's opponents for Crawford is an investment in Crawford himself.
Spence vs Porter, M. Garcia & D. Garcia were investments in Spence.

Bob offering Porter & Thurman $1 mil shows how much Bob is willing to invest in Bud not Thurman/Porter.

Yet you never hear Crawford calling for anything outside of Spence & Pac even when he knows those fights aren't happening next and they were lying about Pacquiao

My main issue with Terrence Crawford is that he's so indifferent about legacy fights. It seems like he is content to fight whoever as long as he's paid well and on one hand I get it. Boxing is a brutal, unforgiving sport so I understand guys wanting to make as much as they can for as long as they can.

On the other hand, I expect more from the best fighters in the world. If you want to be regarded as the best (or at least one of the best) in your era then there should be a sense of urgency to face your top competition.

I imagine Bud will get paid regardless so it would make sense to test yourself. But then again if you're already cashing big checks then I guess it doesn't matter as much.

It's called smoke and mirrors, and I've been calling it out for months.

There are still people here who won't listen.

This is why I'm skeptical of Crawford:

He lives in a cage under Bob Arum's desk and has fought NOBODY. Bum dosser.

He might not think he needs them but his fans and boxing fans want them, it just so happens they are the most difficult fights on paper too so people get su****ious of that attitude. Hes getting on in age too.

Exactly. He's already 33 and those cat-like reflexes won't last forever.

Crawford is fighting for money. He isn't fighting for his legacy. He has said before he would have walked away from boxing by now if he didn't have so many people to take care of. That's why he doesn't want to take a 40% split with Spence, it's his cash out fight.

I always wondered why he never called out Floyd, even when he was active, when he calls out 42 y/o Pacquiao all the damn time

Bob is focused on the heavyweight. Noticed how all the big fights he made recently are all in that division?

With the exception of Loma vs Loma, he's done a pretty sh.ittty job with all his other fighters in different weight classes and (Crawford, Inoue, Ancajas, Ramirez, etc.) He hasn't done jack sh.it in trying to unify his fighters with other fighters.

He poured all the ESPN money on Fury and Loma.
