    lou is the promoter
her manager is her bro in law and hes the one who attacked eddie. eddie should have been more considerate towards amanda serrano to deliver possibly the greatest womens boxing fight of all time.
    clearly covid was an issue...
amanda doesnt have katie taylors money to have her own gym and get away from it all..but tbf thats not eddies problem.
calling eddie a liar the year before really meant eddie was already done with amanda. he wasnt going todo her any favours.
look at persoon, no nonsense, took the fight with both hands.

He is a Promoter not a Manager

Lou did his best work as an EXEC! He Helped Build HBO Boxing to what it was. When he was in Charge HBO Boxing Ratings and TVKO PPV Numbers make today's boxing numbers look like a complete JOKE.

A lot of politics and BS in boxing, I can only image how difficult it is for the smaller promoters especially without HBO who use to give promoters like DiBella and Kathy Duva dates and shows for their fighters. Now after the PBC fall out (for whatever reason) seems like things are even more difficult for him

All the best to him. I'll root for Lou to prosper.

That’s totally false info. He don’t try to “Steal” anyone. He set up a meeting for Shelly, Al and Wilder thinking he was helping and that they can cut their own deal.

Laughable that you think he set up a meeting for himself, like Al and Shelly aren’t there or aware. The only reason he was ban from PBC island was because that meeting cost PBC a lot of money.

Once Wilder was in attendance and saw what was on offer, PBC/showtime had zero choice but to try and match what he would have earned as a free agent against Breazeale.

Everything is contractually agreed too and have been signed to for months but when the details get relayed to Serrano, Serrano does not like it and so Lou Dibella takes to twitter calling Eddie Hearn a liar that this wasnt what they signed onto and more of the same jist but eddit Hearn quickly tells them they should have read over the contracts because come to find out yup Eddie Hearn had every right to stage the fight where he wanted. They eventually get out of the fight but only because Eddie Hearn showed mercy and let them out of the contracts.

Example 2) Tevin Farmer and Lou Dibella are on twitter trying to get a JoJo Diaz rematch, basically doing lil kids tactics by trying a hail marry childplay manipulation to get the fight made by questioning JoJo Diaz honor with statements like "be a man of your word" but this is business and contracts are the only thing that matters and with saying that Shouldnt Lou Dibella have had everything squared away in the contracts before hand so he dont have to yet again relay on someone else mercy? to get things done?
Serrano had a 3/4 fight deal with Taylor at the end of the deal for 400k. She was on the verge of retirement when Lou cut that deal with Matchroom and when she was interviewed afterwards, she was very happy about the deal etc..... Lou actually backed Hearn on Twitter when she started getting cold feet, then she attacked Lou, then Lou tried to ease both side of the argument.

With Farmer am not sure how they lost their rematch thing. From what I know Diaz used the IBF mandatory to block the rematch clause that he was meant to have with farmer.

Finally, Lou doesn’t have the power that he use to have. He is now in the Gary shaw, King league.

If you as a promoter don’t have networks/TV backing then it’s a slow day in hell.

Sounds bad. But I believe that Barry Shaw is/was the worst. After Corrales got into his abuse trouble which resulted in his immediate incarceration after the Mayweather "fight" , Shaw deserted both him and his family.

Serrano got at lou asking if he signed to a backyard fight and Lou said no he didnt, and hearn stated the option in the contract that allowed him to do that, thats when they started backpeddaling trying to use comparsion to hearn as a slave owner and his house a plantation to get out of the deal. It was a messy back and forth. Wasnt a good look all around especially since...... had you just amended that option from the jump this would have never been an issue.

and with Farmer, Diaz literally told Dibella to stop begging and come back with a new and improved offer or shut up. So Dibella has no leverage over Diaz and womp womp womp for Farmer.

Dibella has seen better days but imo still no excuses for all the holes/flaws in his contracts that leave his fighters shit out of luck.

Lou basically helped build HBO Boxing and when he was in charge, HBO Boxing and PPV's was doing RECORD BREAKING Numbers. Also was VP at Time Warner Sports so the man has an incredible Resume

Just the Politics and BS in boxing seem to have hurt his business on top of this pandemic
