It was a messy back and forth. Wasnt a good look all around especially since...... had you just amended that option from the jump this would have never been an issue.

and with Farmer, Diaz literally told Dibella to stop begging and come back with a new and improved offer or shut up. So Dibella has no leverage over Diaz and womp womp womp for Farmer.

Dibella has seen better days but imo still no excuses for all the holes/flaws in his contracts that leave his fighters shit out of luck.
Serrano started complaining wayyyyyyyy before the “Backyard location”... Go and the timeline of this particular event. She never wanted the Taylor fight and she didn’t have one.

She was ok with the 400k she was going to earn when she signed the contract, as it got closer she got cold feet.

No one forsee the pandemic, so dates changed as everyone tried to work things out, luckily for her she was told by Lou that Hearn wanted to lower the 400k in the contract, which gave her the hump.......

That was never agreed to by Lou or her, and in the end she was going to make what was stated in her contract.

With Jojo and Farmer, the IBF don’t give a toss about agreement between boxers like the corrupt WBC does, and I agree with them.

Now that the mandatory is out due to covid let’s see if the IBF makes Farmer the mandatory and if they can work out a deal for the contracted rematch.

I personally don’t know what was in the contract that Diaz signed to get that voluntary shot, but moving forward we would rarely see voluntary shots been given to dangerous boxers, if they would all start acting big when they win.... I also saw how Andy Ruiz started behaving when he KO Joshua.

Champions would now just fight pure bums and wait until you become a mandatory before giving you a shot....
