How exactly does this increase Ward's rep? He got caught with PEDs (which brings his career into question) but no evidence has been brought forth showing he used in either Ward fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if all of these guys were using from day 1 basically. But this comes across as a 'I can't compete at the top level anymore, so I'm going to dope up' type of positive test.

Yeah, I mean people can say it's hating or whatever. But I feel like Ward was pretty clearly juicing for at least fight 2. Kov may have been too. But it's an odd point for a Ward fan to try to bring up. Ward's transformation with his physique in that timeframe was definitely suspect.

You always got to wonder. That's why it was sketchy when Golovkin did it too. But the marks on Ward's back in the rematch are su****ious to me. Can't find any other fight with his back looking like that.

Never heard a fighter get elevated because one of his opponents tested positive for PEDs like 4 years later.

I just explained how. & If it brings his career into question how doesn't it show he was using?

Doesn't mean he wasn't neither. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Numerous fighters have come out saying a lot of guys in the sport are doping. But people either don't see or don't wanna see it shows to be true with all these positive tests. I refuse to be naive, if you ever tested positive I believe you intentionally used it. No excuses & that goes to some of my all time favorite(s) as well.

I agree with the 1st sentence.

This comes across as "I've been cheating for so long but damn they finally caught me."

Never even heard of any Ward PED accusations in my life until you. Literally. Idk of any suspect transformations. I'm not even aware of any marks. Are we talking pimples or what?

Oh that was a serious explanation? While it makes you question his career, it doesn't automatically make him guilty in other fights unless you can prove it with evidence. Dude is literally at the end of his career and it looks like he's taking them to stay afloat as he was knocked out by a guy who started his career at JW

Unless you have some evidence we have yet to see that PROVES he took them for the Ward fights

Let's take the time to appreciate this ATG. Not only for his overall career but for taking on an undefeated killer PED user. A guy who was not only a champion but a unified champion. A guy who was at the time highly ranked on that glorious opinionated P4P list y'all love.

From unifying 168 to being unified at 175. Retired undefeated & took them belts back to Oakland. I'd like to thank Kovalev for increasing Ward's greatness even in retirement. This couldn't have been achieved without your contribution.
