That is your opinion. I always thought he was overrated and good but not great. He had about 95% of his fights in his home town area where he could get away with fighting dirty and using illegal tactics. He was a real dirty fighter. An all time great dirty fighter. I thought Kovalev won the first fight and was only defeated in the 2nd Ward fight by obvious low blows an a blind bias referee who would not warn or take a point away from Ward for the fouls or give Kovalev 5 minutes to recover from 3 hard ball punches in a row. Kovalev just now failed a test and failed no test before fighting Ward. The failed test doesn't work in reverse and prove Kovalev was always a drug cheat. I know many consider Ward an all time great I am just not one of them. He was a skillful boxer for sure and he had a perfect record.

It just shows how ****** some posters can be assuming if a guy fails a drug test he must has cheated in every pro fight he ever had. They do that on boxers they never liked anyway like bad old Russian Kovalev.

They did the same with Anderson Silva. He didnt look much like a PED taker. He probably needed something to shift the weight. He can't fight at cruiser.

IMO, they should all use it too.
We dont want everyone using, that means the best fighters are just the guys with the best chemists.Guys coming up shouldn't have to take these added risks just to compete.
