Bill Haney exposed himself on ThaBoxingVoice, he admitted that the reason the fight with Lopez wont happen is because of his pride. Arum wants to deal with Hearn to make that fight and not deal with Bill Haney.... Arum said they are open to 4 million if Hearn sends the offer but Haney refuses to send the offer through Hearn he wants to be validated as more than just Devin Haney father. He went on rants about how they are in different tax brackets, and he been dealing with millions for years now etc etc.

Yea, someone made a good point on the show that it could just be about the confidence of the money. Bob Arum knows the 4 Million dollar offer is real if it comes from Hearn but if Bill Haney sends it on his own Bob Arum have no clue or confidence that Bill Haney can even produce that amount. Its basically like a co-sign, Bill Haney on his own dont have the credit score to buy a Teofimo Lopez fight so he has to get a Eddit Hearn co-sign to secure the deal, that way Bob Arum knows the money can be paid out.

Bruh I agree, he paying them to punk him, but if he can't get big fights with the belt I don't see how he's gonna get em without it. I don't know how long his contract with Matchroom is for but he needs to get with a promoter who knows what to do with him as soon as it's up.

Haney is the real champ and has the real belt, even if he didn't beat Loma rules are rules and Haney got Loma's belt and Loma was given a newly created 'franchise belt' - as a sly way of marketing Loma vs Teo for ALL 4 BELTS (when in fact it was for 3 of the 4 belts, the WBC belt being the 'Franchise' version.

Teo is the man, and Haney has claim to be 2nd as he has a legit belt (regardless of how he attained it).

What he should do is abuse all the power he has as the current WBC champ and instead he should trash the 'franchise' crap they pulled.

Anyway I would like to see Haney vs Kingry next, and Teo's next two fights should be the winner of Taylor/Ramirez (for all 4 belts at 140) and then he should come back and face the winner of Haney/Kingry for all 4 belts at 135.
