Given that then, if Lopez likes belts, shouldn't he fight the best in his division, another champion at 135, Davis. Doesn't he have to defend that? Or is that like the protection belt, too? Is Lopez retiring?

Why rush to the Australian guy?
Let’s not act like Davis is rushing to right any of the best guys in his division. Lopez has the better track record at this point.

      That can't be overlooked.
What does it matter? Haney still hasn’t fought anyone.

He tried to fight someone, though. Got himself in position to be the mandatory to the winner of Lomachenko vs Teofimo.

It's not his fault that they chose to drop the belt instead.

Put it into it's proper context.

Too bad you don’t get credit for not fighting someone.

What was the point of the Gamboa fight? You mean to say there were no better opponents he could have faced?

            I'd argue against the bold.

Anyway, when any promoter hears Lopez's ****** demands of 10 mil, no promoter would touch him or even acknowledge him. That's why I say Lopez and his dad are interfering with Arum's business.

Floyd has only one simple calculation: he doubles your last pay, if you won. So, if Davis was to make an offer to Lopez, it'd be 3 mil. Maybe negotiate on the PPV. No other fighter can Lopez do a PPV except Davis. (Unless Hearn will throw money on a Josh Taylor fight in the UK.)

Lopez should come back down to earth.

Wasn't in the mood to do it last night. We focused on the trinkets. I'll do it soon starting with Commey.

It don’t matter...Lopez is what, 21? Already a unified champion and beat a top p4p fighter. You can think Davis is the better fighter, or bigger draw or whatever, but you can’t say he’s done more.
