I'm not assigning blame to either side. I know that Porter balked at the initial offer (or slap in the face) but I'm curious to know if he has an acceptable number in mind. And if so, did he make it known to Bob Arum.

I don't really follow who makes what but I fully support fighters negotiating to get what they feel they are worth.

Terence Crawford needs to take the lead! He needs to tell the media that he wants Shawn Porter! Obviously Shawn is ready and willing! Crawford needs to either say "Shawn is pricing himself out," or that he wants to fight Shawn, and that he disagrees with Top Ran's offer!

He almost blocked the biggest blockbuster fight of all time from happening.. crawford spence isn't even close to that. If Bob isn't willing to make it happen for bud, bud stands to make more without Arum getting his greasy fingers on buds money

Crawford hasn't been allowed to fight ANY PBC fighter. Top Rank made Danny Garcia a $3.5m offer with PPV % (and that offer would've been a career high payday for Danny) and Danny Garcia/PBC turned that down. Instead Danny fought Granados for $1m flat in a fight that did nothing for his career.

Crawford/Top Rank have been trying to get the PBC guys to fight but none of them (aside from Porter apparently) have been remotely interested. Just look at Thurman and Spence interviews saying "other side of the street" as reasons they wouldn't consider Crawford...

Samez I'm a floyd fan too, personally I put a brunt of the blame squarely on bob, especially how he managed those last year's when they had pacquiao,..he deserved better opposition.
As far as bob offering pbc guys a fight with crawford, I wasn't aware of those offers, if they were legit offers that's a bad look on their part and I get satisfaction when it's publicized, truth is there's not much publications that'll report on such offers, bscene is my main source for anything boxing

I can agree with that. Unfortunately Bud seems content with fighting whoever as long as he gets paid well.

I don't think he's afraid of anyone, however his indifference can be frustrating because everyone once to see him against the other top guys. For example, Crawford-Porter could be this generation's De La Hoya-Quartey (in terms of action if nothing else)

Spence-Crawford could be this generation's Leonard-Hearns, or at least
De La Hoya-Trinidad in terms of magnitude in the welterweight division.
