Team Usyk wanted the Chisora fight over A.J .
Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas when asked about the progress of the negotiations with Chisora for February. “Yes, that’s a fight that we would like, yes.”
That quote was after he defeated Witherspoon so Hearn once again is not involved here. It wasn’t him who said they aren’t in a rush to fight A.J that was directly Usyk . HaLast edited by REDEEMER; 01-11-2021, 02:20 PM.

The only issue I can see is the risk of Joshua losing to Usyk and the steam it would take off of Fury fight which honestly I could see happening. Usyk didn’t look like undisputed Usyk in his last fight. But Joshua post Ruiz 1 doesn’t look the same either. I have the fight 55/45 in Joshuas favor only due to the size and power difference. AJ is chinny and his gas tank is suspect. I think Usyk hits hard enough, moves enough and throws enough to pull off the upset.
Hopefully everyone stops d:cking around and get this show on the road

Drop the belt, WBO is the last most credible belt out of the WBC/WBA/IBF anyways!
We want Fury vs Joshua if no Fury vs Wilder 3

Money talks BS walks!!
AJ v Fury will happen (as long as both want it) with or WITHOUT Usyk's consent.
Anything else is just noise!!!

Well if Usyk wants his shot then Usyk wants his shot, literally everybody else would prefer the Fury fight but Usyk isn't British and isn't here to pander for the British public.
Though him and his management are not ******, the more stubborn he is the more generous step aside deal he will be offered. Could well just be a money play.
We should all offer our thanks to Rexy for bringing salt and wrong statistics to the thread again in his usual attempt to pour scorn on Joshua and Hearn.
