Those titles canelo won have big asterisks(**) next to them. A title nowadays doesn't mean much unless u took them from someone who was a real champion who won them from another real champion

Anybody who knows what they're talking about knows Canelo will never go down as a legit HOF'er because he's not good enough to. Just look at all the manipulation he does non stop to all his opponents. It's degrading and beyond pathetic. How this chump has fans i'll never know. But it says everything about that environment when you think about it. Then look at the robberies he has.

      Laughable.

Barrera's win against Morales or Naz alone is superior than Canelo's joke, fraud resume.

Morrales' win over Barrera or Pac alone is better than his whole joke resume.

      Salvador's win over Gomez.

      Marquez's win over Pac.

      Chavez over Jose Luis Ramirez.

      GTFOH.

It's like saying Fury is the greatest British fighter in history right now. He isn't. He's got more to do before we judge him against the greats. And he has a superior resume to Canelo with just the Wlad win.

Please stop this clown show. Please. Canelo is a cheating and cowardly fraud. I will never acknowledge him as a real fighter unless he starts behaving like one. Until then, he's the chump he quite clearly portrays himself to be.

When it comes to challenging yourself, facing the best (in their prime), showing heart, and truly chasing greatness, Marquez fighting pac 4 times and morales and Barrera fighting each other 3 times surpasses anything Canelo has done in his career.

You dont judge it based on 1 win.

Jeff Horn(a school teacher) beat Pac.

            If he would've beaten Mayweather than yes I would've agreed 100% but he didn't so I don't.

who did he beat? he for sure didnt' beat ggg or lara and arguably lost or draw with trout. all he has as legitimate wins are:

              - overrated jacobs
              - chavez jr
              - chinny 147 lb khan
              - old mosley coming off a loss
              - callum smith who should have lost to ryder
              - old past prime kovalev who was 9 weeks removed from a grueling fight
              - old past prime small cotto

also canelo didnt hold 3 world titles in 3 weight classes simultaneously. his wba regular title didnt count.

except jeff horn didnt beat pac it was a robbery. anyone with a brain knows that.

morales beat pac clearly. eventhough pac wasnt prime it still is a much better win than anything canelo has and will ever do. thats fact!

I think Mantequilla Napoles should be considered as a great Mexican fighter, but he is all but forgotten. He was loved by the Mexican boxing public but is seldom mentioned when the Mexican commentators and old Mexican fighters discuss Mexican greats.

Canelo would lose to the same Raheem that got knocked out by Ali Funeka and the same feather fisted David Diaz who was knocked out three times. Perhaps he would lose to these worthies in an alternate universe. I get it. You have a gift for irony.

Unfortunately for Canelo, he has not fought the best in his division. Though not to his fault that the division/s he is fighting in have weaker competitions. It is hard to rank Canelo up there with the greats when his competitions have not been up to par, at least compared to the greats. I don't believe he will be the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. But again, that is not his fault.
With the exception of the occasional super fight, the revered great fighters fought mostly average boxers. That is an inescapable fact of statistics. Look closely at the records of Ali, Duran, Ray Leonard, Jack Dempsey, Ray Robinson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Joe Louis, and the rest.
