But again, that is not his fault.
Canelo has the luxury to fight whoever he wants. If he cherry picks the weakest opponents going forward, then yes, it's his fault that he won't be considered the greatest. If he beats the best fighters at 168 and possibly 175, then he will deserve consideration of being the #1 Mexican fighter ever. Reynoso has already crowned Canelo with that accolade but I think many fans will defer their assessment for now.

Canelo is the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world. But as far as the TBE from Mexico....he's definitely up there.

Canelo is not GREAT Head to Head but his resume is disgustingly deep.

If he unifies at 168 he'll have been u disputed at 154 and 168 with real titles at 160 and 175. Thats really impressive in any era.

Again lots if assumptions but JCC Sr has a resume full of CAB DRIVERS. Hes still an ATG but his resume was a joke for the most part

Mexico has one of if not the best tradition in boxing.

In addition Mexico is full of knowledgeable Boxing fans. Most of which could give 2 fuccs about social media.

Reynoso can say what he want to the clowns on social Media but true boxing fans know that it’s offensive to compare Canelo, especially now to the ATG.

                Canelo Ain’t even a top 10 ATG.

                In no specific Order

                Salvador Sanchez
                Ruben Olivares
                Julio Cesar Chavez
                Ricardo Finito Lopez
                Erick Morales
                Marco Antonio Barrera
                Juan Manuel Marquez
                Carlos Zárate
                Israel Vásquez
                Luis Kid Azteca Paramo

And that’s just off the top of my head.

                Reynoso is delusional but Canelo
Is his fighter so I understand.

But no, don’t disrespect Mexico and it’s great champions.

You so called Mexican boxing fans are gonna sit here and let them disrespect your history like that? Chavez who went 89-0 and beat hall of famers like Camacho and Rosario not to mention the thriller with an undefeated prime Taylor. After Sanchez beat an all time great in Wilfredo Gomez and hall of famer nelson. After Marquez went through hell with pac 4 times and ko’d him cold, after Barrera washed the prince and he and morales had one of the greatest trilogies in boxing history...y’all gonna let this dude whose career highlight is a bogus draw and gift decision over a middle aged ggg and a boring fight vs a washed up ghost of old man Kovalev come in and say he’s gonna be the best in your history. What a slap in the face. He really thinks y’all don’t know any better.

                    Cleneros a red headed fraud

Clenero tested twice , got a slap on the wrist. Fixed fights, he used caneloweight ( like he coudnt make 160) lol. Then he got buthurt and threw the belt in the garbage disposal instead of fighting a younger Ggg plus all his fixed fights. Canelo is a magnufatured cheating diva. His power is way overrated even with his padded gloves. GGG beat Clenboy 8-4 first fight second 7-5 GGG. GGG was the last boxer to go toe toe w Clenboy.Since than nobody has even tried to win against him.

I agree. I think he chose 168 cause for me its a weak division. Nobody can win on points against Clenboy. The judges, crooked refs and he's looking like a PED expirement.
