Lopez is the most disputed "champion" in boxing.

On one hand, there's Davis, and on the other, Haney. In real life both are next to fight him because of the WBA and WBC. But we know belts are meaningless.

    Lopez has his tail tucked.

The way Floyd's calculations work, he'd offer Lopez 3 mil, take it or leave it. With some PPV upside.

Top Rank may wanna call Floyd. I'm sure Arum is thinking three million too. But other than fighting Davis, Lopez isn't a PPV material. Even a Loma rematch isn't a PPV worthy. Arum is really stuck with his fighters like Loma, Lopez, and Crawford. He might explode at any moment.

NOBODY is giving him $10 Million and him and Teofimo Sr knows that they they're asking for $10 Million hoping to get at least $5 Million for their next fight which is smart. $10 Million was never realistic and no damn Investors in Australia are not giving him $10 Million to fight Kambosos whom he himself is not even that big in Australia yet

The Chances of going from $1.3-1.5 Million Purse to $10 Million was never realistic I can see him getting maybe $3-$5 Million but not anything close to $10 Million

Arum isn't paying 3 mil for no Kambosos. If he gets 1 mil for that fight, he's lucky. Arum doesn't play around.

He's undisputed, just beat the boogeyman and has the type of charisma that attracts fans. PLUS, you're asking the champ to cross the promotional street for the fight, that usually comes with a lil extra on top.

Maybe not the $10mil, but 7.5-8 seems about right to me.
              ———-

Let’s look at mathematics to formulate a factual baseline pricing structure, shall we?

Floyd’s PPV numbers with PAC and Connor were over 4 million and both fights were $99 tag. That’s over $400 million not counting gate revenue and site fee.
Those numerical figures explain and justify why Floyd made more than $250 M in each fight.

Teo has not been on PPV. He’s just starting out by beating Loma in a fight he made less than $2 M.

Can you walk us through a mathematical proposition that justifies a $7 million paycheck let alone $10 million?

If you have a hypothetical PPV projection to go with it, that might help. You don’t, because Teo has never been on PPV.

When Floyd destroyed Gatti in his first PPV outing, the fight did less than 500k PPV and it was because of Gatti. Even Floyd acknowledged that.

When he moved up in weight to fight Baldomir, he didn’t get $10 Mil and his PPV with Zab was less than 500k so the question is, can you objectively explain how Teo can generate huge PPV numbers to warrant a $10 M paycheck?

It’s simple math bro. At this point, Teo doesn’t even make $5 million. Unless he’s fighting Garcia then it seems plausible (Mexican fans, two young undefeated starlets, a boxing fan base that actually wants that fight etc).
Fighting Haney, while good for bragging rights and enhancing his resume, does not come with a hefty price tag you are trying to justify.

Yeah Arum already said something about them running around asking for $10 Million. Teofimo realizing that the only way they get that money is to fight outside of what Top Rank wants him to do. So yeah only way he getting bigger money is to fight Haney with Eddie Hearn likely having to Pay for it or fight Tank Davis on PPV

How did he know Lopez was better? I'm not calling anyone a duck, but they all seem to want someone other than Devin Haney! Loma is still talking Lopez, and Tank, but why not Haney now?

So no Loma rematch and he doesn't want to fight Haney unless he receives x9 his last purse?

Teo complained how Team Loma treated him but how is he any different demanding 10mil to fight Haney?

Every fighter changes up as soon as they make it
