I think we should discourage him until he works his way back up in the rankings.

So many fighters are way more deserving than Oscar for a shot at GGG.

If he wants to fight at 47, whatever, but he shouldn't get an automatic shot at the elites just because he was famous.

An in shape, trained Oscar De La Hoya even at age 47 is probably still better than Szeremeta. Point blank.

Wasn't De La Hoya saying that he was training as hell just a few weeks ago?

Last Saturday, after the Garcia fight, he looked inflated as always.

so you think an in shape Oscar is good enough to make it into the 7th round vs ggg when over a decade ago little pac made him quit in 8? Sure.

At 47, after 13 years of retirement, at 160lb, against this kind of opponent..year, Oscar, you would be a very lucrative walk in the park for GGG. Almost to a point of taking the sport out of it.

Oscar would win more rounds against Golovkin than Szeremeta did. Let's just say that.

He was severely weight drained against Pac. In the fight before that at a more comfortable weight against Floyd he performed quite well.

Stop man. He’s not winning a single round at near 50 yrs old against ggg unless ggg lets him. He literally might die in the ring. And the fight before pac wasn’t against Floyd , it was against Steve forbes and he didn’t look great then either.

If the fight ever happens maybe we can place a little wager.
