Nobody knows who Kamboso is and those that do say he'll last for 2 rounds. If Kambosos is followed up by non competitive fights while someone like Lomachenko is available.....Yes, Teo will be criticized and justifiably so.

I’m a Loma fan. Thought he would make Lopez look silly. That being said, the aftermath of this fight makes Loma look like a pure biznitch. Crying about scores and a rematch. Should have had the rematch clause in the contract. Now, Loma comes off like Judah after being smoked by Kostya. At this point, make em wait in line Lopez. Teofimo fighting other top guys to see who comes out on top is absolutely fine. Haney, Garcia, Davis, any of these would be great and would look reasonable as choices instead of a Lomachenko rematch. But he isn't lining any of those up.

He will fight Kambosos who is clearly inferior to Lomachenko and it's a matchup that no one is clamouring for. Now I can see some justification for that fight. He's getting a mandatory out of the way, so it's not a totally nonesense fight. But at the same time, a Lomachenko rematch is more compelling.

I do see both sides. The lack of a rematch clause naturally means Lopez is not compelled to fight Loma and he can indeed fight whoever he wants. If he wants to avoid Loma, that is entirely up to him. But he should be honest about it. None of this BS about things that were said, that people were being a **** to him. If being a **** was a valid reason for not making a fight, Lopez would never have got his shot at Loma in the first place.
