Ryan Garcia has more flaws than a 140 pound Victor Ortiz

Victor Ortiz lunged in too much and fought too squared at times, but he at least had decent foot movement and he moved his head way more than Ryan Garcia. His punches were crispier and it was always great seeing him put combinations together. I see a lot more flaws in Ryan Garcia. His only defensive maneuver is to lean his head back with his chin in the air and he’s too flat footed. He does the catch and shoot technique like Danny Garcia, but he’s terrible at it. A prime/young Ortiz would have KO’d Ryan Garcia.

Until proven otherwise, Ryan has the one thing Ortiz DIDN’T have at 140 or 147, and that’s the heart and will to fight through adversity.

I think he fights alot like Canelo in his stance and footwork but he definitely needs to learn to tuck his chin or move his head or retreat in angles not just straight back.
He definitely knows how to whip that left hook though which if he lands flush will kd most guys.

A 22 year old Ortiz had no business fighting Maidana. Goldenboy messed that one up.

              This right here.

That heart is what will take Ryan Garcia further than Victor Ortiz every could imagine. Ortiz always knew in his mind he would quit when it got too hard, I dont think Ryan Garcia will.

Another Casual. You don’t box, why r u posting on a boxing forum? That’s cringe ASF.

Explain to me how Luke Campbell who is AN OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL winner and has 16 ko’s in 20 fights (66% ko ratio) is a feather fisted bum?

Luke Campbell won an Olympic gold medal in boxing, do you have any idea of the boxing skills required to do that?

Luke Campbell also has a 66% K.O. ratio vs Manny Pacquiaos 63% ko ratio so I guess manny is feather fisted to?

I don't agree. I like the way Garcia responded after getting knocked down. I think he is mentally stronger than Ortiz ever was.
