I'm a fan of both, and I can see how both would win and it's gotta be hard to pick against Lopez right now as he is rightfully the king of the division. But... I'm taking Haney, I just think he's got the style to frustrate Lopez.

Haney’s team will never let him on their with Teo. Maybe in 5 years. Maybe....

The fight to make at lightweight is Davis vs Loma or Lopez. Let's focus on crapping on the promoters until they make the fights we want. Haney can fight Nakatani if they want it tough.

Let's see, Teo can't cut the ring and Devin can't fight a guy his size that actually has power. I suspect it looks a lot like Shakur v DLS or Teo v Ortiz. Haney gonna be running and hugging all night long, Teo will be failing to catch him. Depends on what the judges like and which side dropped more discreet envelopes under the table, and whether Haney gets caught. I'm leaning Teo. Teo is a much more complete fighter than Ryan, even though he can't cut the ring.

I'll still say that it is a 50/50 fight. Haney was fighting way out of his element against Ryan Garcia. He squared up just a bit too much and fought a lot off the front font. However, I don't expect him to fight like that against Teofimo Lopez, Jr.

Also, Ryan was a lot faster than Devin Haney too. Which was something that I couldn't envision happening. Every punch he threw was accurate and to the point. His hand to eye coordination was exceptional that night.

However, we all know the reason why now because he was juiced to the gills during that bout.
