I remember they randomly elevated Tank Davis over Alberto Machado awhile ago which was also strange so the WBA just does whatever with their Belts. ZERO Credibility in all these Belts anymore! They will probably just GIVE Eubank that World Belt eventually since he is Interim for it

Why are people mad? Canelo vacated and he’s the only other wba champ just elevate Murata and then do away with the “regular” all together.

Sturm was elevated to "Super" status even-though he didn't have another ABC title. It was done so he could avoid GGG. The cycle never seems to end, and the sanctioning bodies help perpetuate the bullshxt.

If I remember correctly, the WBA super championship was created for champions who unify with another title.

Most, if not all Super champions aren't even unified with another title.

It was ridiculous enough to create the super championship, but it's much worse now that they haven't followed their own rules in years. And now the WBC is competing with them to see who can be the worst.

That or 5 defenses also, there were a couple ways to get elevated to the Super title, but they threw that all out after a while. Hell, remember when the Super title looked different from the regular belt?
