Both are good fighters. I like them all. But don’t place shade on Garcia’s win by calling Luke lesser than what he was (not you I know you haven’t). Luke was definitely a step up fight and a damn solid win. Luke has proven he has power as does Tank no doubt. However Tank’s power could now be tested by a boxer that can also crack now that he’s KOd a good fighter. He may be hesitant on rushing on in to capture that KO knowing he could very well be countered and KOd himself. Up to this point there’s been no real risk to him in that regard.

We will see who Davis next opponent will b...has yet to face a non-Hispanic fighter in a significant fight. “Smart promotion and good business”...legacy and greatness dont mean squat!Actually it’s to build your fan base across multiple demographics. It’s smart promotion and good business. Further, the adage that you can’t make a profit without a Hispanic fan base presumes that you know all the financials for those bouts that didn’t have a Hispanic opposition which we know to not be true.Comment

Real or not: Ryan Garcia-Gervonta Davis next? How about Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney?
Real or not: Ryan Garcia's next fight will be against Gervonta Davis
Cameron Wolfe: Not real. I'd love to see Garcia-Davis and I believe we will sooner than later, but I believe it's too optimistic to believe it will be next.
The two have been hyping that fight up to the next level over the past week, with Garcia saying after his victory over Luke Campbell that he wants Davis next and later telling TMZ Sports that if "Tank" Davis doesn't take the fight next his legacy will be tainted. Davis responded on social media saying that the "fight already been made now shut up and get ready." Despite the fun war of words, the fight hasn't been made yet and the business of boxing often slows up these mega fights.
Garcia is the mandatory challenger for WBC lightweight titleholder Devin Haney. It seems more likely that bout would be next for Garcia, especially given arenas haven't been able to host fans even at half capacity yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For Davis, he can continue to build his resume by facing a legitimate lightweight contender like Jorge Linares or Javier Fortuna.
But once fans fully return to arenas -- possibly in the second half of 2021 -- I definitely see a Garcia-Davis megafight happening. Both fighters want the smoke, and each has the appeal to make the money they deserve. So let's predict Garcia-Davis happening in 2021, just not next...
Real or not: Teofimo Lopez will fight Devin Haney next
Michael Rothstein: Not real, at least in the immediate future, but get back to me later in the year. There are a bunch of logistics involved which could make this fight a bit trickier -- including the reality that in 2021, when there are questions about maybe, hopefully, full-ish stadiums at some point, this fight could absolutely sell. That Lopez has an IBF mandatory against George Kambosos Jr. -- a fight he should take and a fight he should win -- further complicates matters. To me, Lopez, who is coming off foot surgery, should take the Kambosos Jr. fight first and then have a bigger bout against Haney -- or maybe Ryan Garcia -- later this year.

Tank Davis vs Gary Russell would be a great event in the DMV area if fans were able to attend but I’m not sure what laws Maryland, District of Columbia and ******ia have with events now. That's facts! Funny thing is I believe GRJ and Chris Colbert give Tank a tougher fight @ 130, than Ryan Garcia @ 135! However, I know Floyd knows what you know, that Mexican fan base will show up! Pretty Boy Ryan is a much safer choice than Issac Cruz Gonzalez! I don't think anyone is in a rush to see him!
Love the Colbert fight as well but Colbert is Tevin Farmer but 100 times better and younger so I doubt team Davis goes after him.
Isaac Cruz is a ****er and I think he gives Tank some issues early but fades in the 2nd half of fights but so does Tank.
So many good fight for tank at 130 but Garcia would be the best choice to make $$$ and he has a great chance at being the first to dethrone Garcia stardom.Comment

Let’s hope we get it. The fight will sell and it will be a huge event. This will also be good to get new blood boxing fans into the sport.Come on bro, neither promoter wants to take this loss. Oscar is down to his last superstar and he is not fully grown. Floyd has placed all his visible eggs into Gervontae Davis. Both are in the same position. Evidence is this, Oscar came out after the Campbell fight and said Garcia was not ready.
Hopefully the money and the launch pad is enough for both promoters to bite. Because the risk is real and that’s what makes the fight compelling.Comment

MAN SHUT UP with the bootlicking...luke Campbell is a British domesticated fighter with ZERO finishing ability and ZERO durability in the body....why do you think Lomachenko dropped him with a damn body shot when he's not even known for power? LOL Its wayyy too many people in here that don't know $h!t about boxing....never laced up the gloves or NOTHING. SMHThat “Feather Fisted” fighter would stop you in like 1:30 of the very first round. Lmfao. That’s why you on a forum talking about him. Would you rather talk about someone, or be that someone they all talk about? Lol. You ain’t amount to nothing in life kid, stop talking like you do.
I mean clearly by ya username you think “TMT” have the best stable of fighters!! Or is that for Floyd and tank?Comment

You cannot compare British domestic knockouts to American knockouts. Here's the thing about most British knockouts....they usually are stopped when one fighter lands ONE unanswered combo of punches and you know that.....you just can't compare the two....that's part of the reason most American fight fans think the majority of British fighters are simply weak. Arguing against this is just futile.I don’t know why people continue to call him feather fist. He literally had 16 KOs out of his 20 wins. Don’t go citing his competition level because Tank’s isn’t much better either. We’ll know how much Tank’s KOs were reality once he faces a boxer that can actually punch as well.Comment
