Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia Continue To Hype Up Potential Blockbuster Showdown

Clearly, Ryan Garcia has the attention of his future desired target. Unbeaten two-time 130-pound titlist Gervonta Davis has heard his name mentioned leading up to and in the aftermath of Garcia's recent off-the-canvas 7th round knockout win over England's Luke Campbell (20-4, 16KOs). The lightweight bout-which aired live on DAZN this past Saturday from American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas-came with an interim title at stake, with the intention of the evening's winner becoming the mandatory challenger to reigning WBC lightweight champ Devin Haney (25-0, 15KOs).

These comments will frighten poor Oscar to death , another star problem .Canelo leaves and Garcia could be flattened but good for Ryan I hope he makes good his promise .These are the live types of fights we need .Not promoters hiding away their assets!

Garcia is really showing that he dares to be great. He needs to work on his defense and footwork to fight against Davis. Davis is a monster.

“You know who you talked to 10 [minutes] before ya ring walk… the fight already been made. “[N]ow… shut up and get ready!”

So this was all planned? OK, let's get it! Devin, seems like you need to holla at Bob Arum!

I can't believe I'm saying this cause i wasn't exactly his biggest fan but honestly his attitude towards wanting to build a legacy , is turning him into my favorite boxer right now . Wish Spence and Crawford had this kids attitude

Let’s see if Oscar and Floyd will engage in a high speed game of chicken with their young flag ship fighters. This fight is huge.

Black American vs Mexican American, Oscar vs Floyd, PBC vs GB. Showtime vs Dazn. Boxing Superstar vs Internet Phenom. DMV Hip Hop affiliated gangster vs California pretty boy. This may be the biggest fight in boxing beyond Fury Wilder lll.

It will bring every North American demographic to the table. Either career can recover and the other will be the biggest draw. As such the world will watch. This is the type of fight boxing can’t pass up. And the best news is Arum can’t intervene with its success. Go big or go home. Finally a potential super fight at lightweight.

Tank won’t be able to just walk through Ryan’s punches like he did with LSC, if Ryan uses his physical advantages he can def beat tank.

If they make the fight next then it does great numbers since it’s a fight that is a toss up. If they marinate this fight it loses its luster.

Tank to me is too protected and he will never fight anybody that could give him issues. Mayweather is trying to make a profit off of him by touting him as some PPV star. If Davis didn’t fight a Mexican then he would of sold 50k PPV the most. If the $$ is right ,would be the only way he fights Garcia and these days these fighters want 8 figures for a step up fight smh.
