For Crawford, PBC provides more than just Spence! When he signed that extension to Top Rank, the entire Top 5 in the division was at PBC. So if he wanted the Top 5, he made a mistake. If he wanted that ESPN money, he got what he wanted. I think Andrade made a wise decision because Canelo, GGG, and Saunders are on DAZN. However, he hasn't seen any of them in the ring yet! At least Andrade went to where the action was, vice Crawford staying where the action was not! What I hate is when guys go to X platform, and expect to fight guys on Y platform! They should know how this works by now!

Great point, and that's why I'm glad that Canelo is a free agent. In an ideal world, more elite fighters would either go the free agent route or work with promoters on a fight-by-fight basis instead of: 1. Getting stuck on the "wrong side of the street" like Crawford or 2. Being on the "right side of the street" and still not getting the best fights like Andrade.

Could be interesting if they're all going for that cinco de mayo date. Maybe GGG-Mungia ends up on Friday and Canelo gets the Saturday fight or they do a ppv like they did with the Charlos. If they compete then the undercards will have to be spot on so Saunders-Andrade on the Canelo undercard and maybe Haney gets Fortuna too just to stack it. Imagine if Floyd tried to jump in and make the Tank-Garcia fight on that date too. Talk about a promotional war and Im rooting for the chaos if it forces the best fights.

Not sold on Munguia and don't think he's ready for Golovkin yet even if he isn't in his prime anymore. Munguia I think struck big at 154 because of his size he was never really a put you to sleep type of puncher just overwhelmed and was a big guy landing solid shots which broke his opponents down. I don't think he has anything to bother Golovkin and I don't think he can take Golovkins punches all night would be a crazy upset though.

i doubt that dazn will put ggg-munguia on 5 de mayo when they already started to iron the details for canelo-saunders(yirdim on dazn is part of the deal), no disrespect but munguia and ggg together dont have half the fans canelo has, is a no brainer...

I haven't seen a statement from Hearn confirming that yet. I don't think Hearn can stop Andrade from using the WBO rules to become Saunders' mandatory. Andrade needs to do that ASAP! That way, even if Canelo beats Saunders' he becomes Canelo's mandatory! The only meaningful fight I can see Andrade having (without fighting Jacobs) is with WBO #2 SMW contender Zach Parker. Parker is 19-0 w/ 13 KOs. At least he would be putting himself next in line for Canelo vs. Saunders winner.

That's a good point. If it worked for Usyk it should work for Andrade. But what's to stop Canelo from dropping that belt. He did that to avoid GGG and then the WBC made him franchise champion rather than force him to fight Charlo.

I don't know Zach Parker. I don't think anyone knows him well enough to care about that fight either. At least people would know Dervy and he'd probably jump at a chance to fight for a title.
