My question is this, how come Andrade gets a pass for pulling out of fights due to money but other fighters that have bigger fish to try have to be charitable to Andrade and give him a big money fight when they can earn more money fighting another fighter?

He did it himself, he ducked out, backed out of fighting Charlo 1 month prior to the fight because he wanted to be greedy and listen to Roc Nation or whoever it was who told him he can make more money than that. But if Canelo, GGG, and even Charlo now have bigger fish to fry and he gets left out in the cold because the above mentioned fighters want to fight for more money than they can get from fighting Andrade, then they are the bad guys and Andrade is the poor little guy who boxing forgot about.

    Double standard.
I don't give him a pass. He has been at 160 for years and still has yet to fight a good dangerous middleweight. Jermall just fought Dervy but Andrade has still not fought any middleweight nearly as good as Dervy. Jemall beats him if they ever fight in my opinion. Andrade always has excuses and somehow never tough opponents.

Jacobs is still with DAZN isn’t he?
At the end of the day we don't know if Danny would step in the ring with him. But Ive talked to people at the high level of American boxing before, and everyone even back in 2008 knew this guy was gonna be the next big thing. If you're involved w American boxing you know who Demetrius is and what he can do. While I don't know for sure who is ducking who, all of this tells me guys really don't want to get in the ring with him in a day and age where having as few losses as possible is the most important thing. It's a shame really, I wish it were more like UFC where guys had to fight each other.

He has that belt, any top fighter who can take it, should. Adding a belt to their resume' means more money. Unless they think Andrade is a threat.

Come to think of it, no one, and I mean no one, is mentioning the Charlo boys name.....and they've got the belts, and the money draw. Hmmmmm.

Andrade made awful Career Decisions outside the ring it is no denying that and to his credit he admits that and YES he did walk away from that Jermell Charlo Fight because he THOUGHT Roc Nation was going to give him this big Contract and it didn't work out. Even if he signed with Roc Nation that would've been yet another Awful Career Move Anyway because Roc Nation did not work out and is now Defunct.

So yeah just some awful career Decisions outside of the ring that has cost him prime years that he can never get back. So Charlo's and Ronnie Shields are not lying that was BAD BUSINESS and Unprofessional on Andrade part to get the Jermell Charlo fight and then backing out to go sign with Roc Nation? He really haven't recovered after that honestly! By the time he finally lands that big fight he is already 32 soon to be 33 in a couple of months

Now I do think Jermall Charlo should go ahead and fight him anyway despite the past because I think that is a good fight and a Big Fight in that 160 Divisions. Andrade is not getting GGG or BJS! GGG likely going Munguia while Andrade is hoping for BJS but I think BJS gets Canelo in May. This leaves Andrade stuck with nobody to fight and will probably be forced to fight Liam Williams to keep his 160 WBO Title. Very Unfortunate and Disappointing how his career has played out.

100 percent agree. Andrade can duck and fight bums and still get called the most feared mw.

Well those in 2008 who said he would be the next big thing were wrong. His career has been a big bust.

They weren't wrong on their skill assessment. They were wrong in that weren't able to anticipate that these next generation of boxers would be more concerned with having as few "0s" as possible on their resume. If the sport had more credibility someone would have forced Canelo/Charlo/Lara to fight Andrade back in 2014. He was a champion, there was no excused for those fights not to happen.

I think you've been going a bit too hard on this anti Andrade campaign. Years ago I actually agreed that Andrade made awful career moves but you have to place blame on Hearn and DAZN for the past couple of years. He signed with them to actually get the big fights and these guys have ducked him.

Well, there's no use in crying over spilled milk forever.
He's here now and making himself available and active.
Only thing you can hope for is he'll retire and disappear from the sport.

One thing is certain, though. The people who defend him are not fans of
either Canelo or Golovkin, who they love to blame for ignoring Andrayd.

Real question is why aren't you saying anything negative about Charlo
when he was offered $7 million to fight Andrayd? That's a lot of money
compared to what was offered to Andrayd some time back.
