Double standard: Andrade can pull out of top fights due to money

Andrade wants GGG charlo canelo now, 2020/2021 and they dont want to fight

To the posters point, what exactly has he done to even deserve a fight with those guys in the past 5 years?

Smith at least won the smw tourney and strap. Andrade has literally done nothing aside from sign a fight with bjs that fell through, not because of him.

Andrade has no names on his resume. Beating him does nothing for Canelo, GGG, Charlo at this point. Andrade is not some ATG, future Hall of Famer and it’s very unlikely he’ll ever be. No GGG critic will go “Wow GGG beat Andrade, how amazing!”. Andrade has not proved he’s elite. He has proven he can win decisions vs journeymen, gatekeepers and 1 once-top fighter.

If GGG fights Andrade, he will win based on activity alone. Andrade doesn’t have the workrate to compete vs top fighters. And you will not get a decision over a guy coming forward and being more active than you.

Idk why you Andrade supporters are even as high on him as you are. I get excited about fighters that show something at the top level. Andrade has looked like an average boxer at the journeyman/gatekeeper level.

Why did canelo clearly duck andrade in 2014 when he was andrade mando and in 2017 canelo came down to fight liam smith for the same belt? Why didnt canelo fight andrade a world champ in his div since 2018 but he fought fielding and is fighting yildrim?

GGG just fought Szeremeta, a very overmatched opponent that nobody but his most hardcore fans or Canelo critics care about and now use that fight to say GGG is still dangerous.

Canelo is fighting Yildirim next, a guy who got his #1 ranking by the WBC by losing his last fight. Which is a big issue for boxing in general. That’s a big red flag and someone I wish Canelo would use his name/power to back out of and fight a top guy instead.

The difference between beating Szeremeta, Yildirim and Andrade is nothing. Non HOF’ers, non ATG’s, barren resumes. The best wins between them are Vanes, Glen Johnson, Periban, and Ouma. Really nothing there at all. Canelo and GGG are better off fighting guys they would get some credit for like eachother, Saundes, Plant, Charlo, Benavidez.

Andrade is 2 time undefeated world champion. Thats literally enough to fight canelo. What did fielding to earn a fight? What about ggg and that polish bum he just fought? Why didnt he just unify with andrade and become a 2 time unified champ?

Andrade is clearly better than callum smith. Smith is a basic fighter with a high guard with no head movement. Another glorified rocky fielding. What high level slick fighter does canelo have on his resume that wasnt a L or a robbery? In almost 50 fights?

So that’s why you want Andrade to fight him? Makes sense.

GGG’s best wins on his resume are Jacobs, Derevyanchenko, Brook (yes, a welterweight would be better than Andrade), Matthew Macklin, Daniel Geale and Martin Murray. I’d put Andrade on the Dominic Wade/Willie Monroe Jr category.

Andrade was never a name that popped up for Canelo.

Mayweather (they were saying Mayweather was ducking Canelo)
Trout (Canelo was supposedly ducking him, according to jrosales13 and the gang at the time)
Lara (same as above)
Cotto (the boxing public just plain out just wanted to see this fight)
GGG (Canelo ducked a first, second and now apparently a third fight with GGG)
Jacobs (after Jacobs’ performance vs GGG, Canelo critics said Canelo would never fight Jacobs)

These were the names that fans were bringing up for Canelo to fight. Andrade was never in the conversation. Ever. Until now.

Listen i respect your opinion. You had an acccount on this site since i was 11 years old. But you have to listen to yourself No difference between szremata and andrade? Come on. Financially wise ggg would be better, legacy wise that would be his best win. Andrade is world champion and it isnt coincedence that noone wanted to unify or fight him (bjs,canelo, ggg,charlo) what do these professional elite boxers know that we dont?

Andrade has a big chance of beating you and taking away your star power and belt. Thats why. He will rise to the occasion when he gets a big fight just like fury

Andrade has never stepped up. So we don’t know who he could beat. That’s the problem. And he seems to be picky. He doesn’t want just anyone he wants the big names like “old washed up GGG” as your buddy in this thread describes him. He wants the money fights. If he can beat Jacobs, then call out Jacobs. Jacobs is still with DAZN isn’t he?
