Agreed. One of the reasons I watch almost every fight with the sound down or off, which is what I had to start doing with hbo.

I think they were ok until they started actively building opponents for their stars that we as fans figured had little to no chance to beat the hbo signed guy.

They used to be about the fights. When the started singing guys to exclusive deals, they lost all objectivity and began to have their announce teams call fights in a biased way that showed clear favoritism. The quality of fights began to decrease as well.

That’s when most fans wanted them out.

There seems to be some posters that wanted pbc gone before they ever gave them a chance. I think those posters will rejoice if pbc fails.
This pretty much sums it up..

dazn is such a budget ass operation in comparison.

they even had the nerve to have a virtual lampley do the intro, that is ***ing lame, rather they just have that budget ass white dreads guy

also last time like 3 out of 3 national anthem singers ****** ass. They did mexico, US and UK and all of them were terrible singers.

^ Pretty much this. The production quality was always good, but when they became overly biased with their 'Exclusive fighters". It was like watching British commentary of an Anthony Joshua fight. A bit of balanced commentary would've been much appreciated!

How is DAZN, Top Rank on ESPN, PBC on Fox and Showtime failing is good for Boxing? Do fan thinks that one of them failing is good for the others? Well no it is not! You have people basically rooting and wanting Showtime to get out of Boxing which is alos extremely ******! These are not "BOXING FANS" they can't be. No other sport fans does this besides So Called Boxing Fans! It explains exactly why the sport has declined drastically in popularity overall.

Some people actively root for promoters more than fighters. I really don't get that at all. It makes no sense.

I want them all to succeed IF they will work with other promoters. Too many big fights don't happen in this sport because of these promotional companies and networks can't or won't work together!

HBO stuck with TR and at the end they were airing fights that were mismatches or had no interest.

They had a great run but instead of fixing the problem they just caved in.

It is indeed hilarious how so many people on here were always praying for HBo’s downfall, but as soon as it does happen, there’s just been instant regret.
