Agreed. One of the reasons I watch almost every fight with the sound down or off, which is what I had to start doing with hbo.



I think they were ok until they started actively building opponents for their stars that we as fans figured had little to no chance to beat the hbo signed guy.

It was even worse when they tried to manufacture "stars"

As far as sports production HBO was the best. But many fans criticized Lampley, Kellerman and Merchant.

arum despises ********** in power in boxing..furthermore he despises ********** that try to give the minority fighters more power and money like haymon does....and i mean he absolutely despises it....he loves subservient ********** who take whatever he will give them and haymon and his crew are the complete opposite of that

haymon hates everything that arum stands for and i dont mean as a boxing promoter either...haymon also has to to hear about bob bashing him while al stays silent behind the scenes....there is no love loss from either side

the thing is this...bob arum knows that if he had the pbc roster of 147 and haymon had just crawford bob would be doing the exact same thing to al.....but bob isnt completely ******...so hes going to sit back and play it up...play the whole "they dont want to fight us" angle until haymon/spence need/want them....if spence and bud stay unbeaten they will fight...spence will eventually need bud....but that time isnt yet i dont think....bob knows exactly whats going on which is why hes happy to sit back and have people believing the pbc is avoiding bud....hed be on the other side of that if he was in als shoes because hed be doing exactly what haymon is doing right now......these guys will only work together if its absolutely neccessary....a big fight in big demand worth some good money ie wilder/fury 2

arum showed his hand and how the whole thing goes when he kept barking about shawn porter leading up to the mean machine fight..he kept telling everyone how they were eyeing porter after that...until kenny porter said "call us we can make that fight" alluding that he had uncle al's blessing....about a week later bud was live on tv being asked about porter and said "thats not on my radar"....kenny porter showed arums game...he loves sitting back and yelling the pbc fighters names when he thinks they already have other plans and wont talk back.....bob knows exactly what in this bud/spence situation because its exactly the blueprint hed follow if the shoe was on the other foot....hes yucking it up and having suckers believe he wants to go through the gambit of pbc fighters when in reality he doesnt care(im not saying he thinks bud will lose...but monetarily most of those fights arent worth it to him as the pbc fighters will want fair market share and their shares are more than their listed purses)
