Who is better - Andrade or Jermall?

It was competitive but I didn't see a really close fight. Charlo was doing far more damage with his shots and his jab was the most effective shot of the fight. Derevyanchenko fought hard like he always does, but he didn't have a case of winning this fight like he may have against GGG/Jacobs IMO.

Andre Rozier himself stated to Keith Idec after the fight that Charlo was the better man and Derevyanchenko wasn't able to have the same amount of success as he did against GGG.

But anyways, Charlo can be out boxed but he has a very good jab and chin. He is a good counter puncher and Andrade has a unique style that is effective. I'm not sure about Andrade's chin though at the elite level. Either fighter could win this match up and I wouldn't be surprised if Andrade is out boxing Charlo before getting hurt and stopped late.

I hear ya. Just gotta call it like I saw it. I'll have to rewatch again sometime. I always watch without sound and yeah I just saw a close fight the whole way. With Sergei closing the fight better and taking it. I think I posted my card and summary of the rounds on here after it happened.

I agree on the Andrade-Charlo fight if they matchup. Not sure how much 'dog' or chin Andrade has. If he has enough, he should be pretty good. Obviously each guy will perform better vs certain matchups too.

Both guys would be a very good win for anyone right now, if they step up and come up short I just don't want to hear people saying they suck, and that the other one was good.

To answer your question, Andrade was the better amateur boxer but I think Charlo is the overall better pro fighter and will go on and have the better career. Stlystically, Andrade can be a nightmare opponent no matter who he fights though. He's a tall awkward and unconventional southpaw that is hard to look good against.

More or less agree. Still not exactly sure what either guy has. I feel like Andrade's ceiling is higher, but his floor is lower as well. Charlo more limited as a boxer, but seems to have some more toughness to him.
